Hey Becky!

Theres a couple of us January 2011 WTT now! Good luck on the twins, they are rife through my family after having 1 boy so I'm hoping I don't carry on the tradition

xxxx

 Hi Becky

I'm a scrapbooker too, it's my main obsession, after WTT that is lol. I have sooo many projects on the go at the moment, so getting those finished is one of my aims before TTC. Can't wait to make a pregnancy scrapbook! Me and my OH would like twins too, just wondering how you are intending to help it along? x

lots of us wants twins. My dad's a twin so finger's crossed. I've started making a book for calebs photo's and memories. . I have a baby book but wanted to do my own x

Hi ladies :flower:.

Thank you to Shazzy for pointing me in your direction, I'd love to join you :hugs:.

I'm Jeanna, mummy to 3 month old Daisy. I live in W. Yorks although I'm from Newcastle. I'm a reception class teacher on maternity leave til June. Me and hubby are WTT in October 2011 and I can't wait!! I'd also love twins. My hubby is a twin and there are also twins on my side of the family so fingers crossed :).

Hiya Jeanna & Becky  I added you too to our WTT list.

I got the stupid builders outside making so much noise that Joe can't fall asleep. I miss Germany where there is silence between 12 and 3pm. :shhh: The army builders must know Joe's routine so they always pop around for work around his nap times. :growlmad:

I sorted through Joe's clothes earlier...OMG he's got so many clothes with Tigger on for 9-12 months. Upsi. lol
Got a load to sell as well. :happydance:

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! So happy to be here! Princess, I've been reading up on ways to increase the chances of twinning and apparently Soy Isoflavones help-they are nature's clomid (I'm not going on any fertility drugs unless my doc wants me to). Also, folic acid helps, along with 2 large yams a day, among other herbs and supplements (all natural and over the counter). PM me if you are interested and I can send you the links I found. Jchihuahua and Pink, it's good to know I'm not the only one interested in multiples!:happydance:

Thanks :flower: I had heard that yams were a good one, and have been getting those into our diets. OH is quite happy with that as he had read that they were good for his workout regime :bodyb: I think I shall soon investigate some of these other supplements a little more.

Hopefully we'll only be a month behind you, so fingers crossed we'll be twin-bump buddies! x

Hello ladies, sorry I've been a bit quiet!! Welcome to all the new ladies it's lovely to be getting bigger as a group!! How are we all? I'd love to have twins, so any TTC tips are gratefully received! OHs dad is a twin as is his nan on his mums side. Got my fingers crossed anyway! Xxx

Oh and Shazzy thanks to you and James for the siggy, I will put it on mine when I get on my laptop am using my iPhone at the moment as I'm away in Manchester!! X

hi all:wave:

hope everyone is ok, god this waiting is frustrating isn't it!?

welshwarriors, could you add me to the list on the first page please. i'm ttc august 2011, can't wait!:happydance:

Welcome to Jeanna, Becky and Rosie! We are certainly growing in numbers, aren't we!?!

Hope everyone is well. I'm feeling super excited today when I noticed my TTC date is just over 9 months away! :happydance: This means only 6 months before taking pre-conception vitamins! Love having a ticker to count down. Time is moving fast for me at the moment, I only hope it continues at this pace. I'd hate for it to begin dragging...

Is anyone else finding time is flying?

I suppose keeping myself busy is working. We are currently looking at a block of land to build our "dream home", so much of my attention is on planning and researching for that. I'm sure all of you who are already mummies have no choice but to be busy with a LO running (or crawling or sitting or laying... depending on age lol) around.

Just cannot wait for that to be me! :yipee:

Rosie, you must feel extra special... I have now welcomed you twice! Oops!

Added you Rosie.

Lots of January and August TTC girls.

How you all doing today? Any plans?

I have to wait in all morning and afternoon for the stupid MOD people to fix my leak in the kitchen and check my electricity (I'm pretty sure they checked that 6 months ago but ey) and I got my 1st ever smear test, defo not looking forward to that.

hey, ive not been in here in ages :(
keep forgetting every time i come on, always head straight for wtt!

how is everyone?
we need more ttc number1 ladies!! im jealous of all the already mummies hehe :p

oh btw, please can i be changed to june 2011 instead of august :) not sure whether i'll be ntnp or trying straight away then but i think thats when i'll be moving over from wtt to ttc :D

time is flying by at the moment for me :D ahh cant wait :D
xxxx

Could this be moved to the WTT board? Or could there be a sticky or something? Not trying to be bossy, I was actually looking in the WTT area for a 2011 group thinking "I can't be the only one"-I am super glad I found our group. :happydance:

I'm not doing anything special today...work and more work...enjoying a week off of school.

Question: when does everyone plan on starting their folic acid and prenatal vitamins? I had a friend who took prenatal vitamins while on BC because her doctor told her she needed to-anyone ever heard of this or done this? would it hurt? My one a day women's vitamins are running out and I'm not sure if I should buy prenatal instead....

hi everyone hope your all ok x i'm not sure on the prenatal supplements but i will probably ask 6 months before so i'm ready x i've just been lazy today. X town tomorrow i need a new coat . Oh gets paid tomorrow so maybe he will buy me one if i ask nicely x

Becky, everything I have read suggests you start at least 3 months prior to TTC. Saying that, I guess there is no harm in starting them early, as other sources suggest that all women of child bearing age should be taking folic acid regardless. Obviously, it's more important that you don't start taking them too late.

Faye, I try that one on my OH literally every time he gets paid. He rarely bites, unless the thing I suggest he pays for also benefits him in some way :nope: Oh, how nice it would be to have some money coming in that wasn't from a loan!

My mouth is full of ulcers to day :sad2: means I'm getting nice and run down just in time for my belated birthday party grrrrrrr x

i hate ulcers they are annoying.i think oh is getting a game so i will say it's not fair if he can have something and i cant x x
