Yeah my OH is after a new game this pay day as well. Last month it was a light saber lol. He is quite good though, he is saving the rest towards a deposit on a house, so I can't really complain!

Hi my name is Laura, from Motherwell in North Lanarkshire, originally from Glasgow, stayed here a year now and love it I am mum to Jack who is 5 and Milly who is 2! I have been with my partner for nearly 7yrs.

I have a lot of weight to lose so hoping to lose most of it within the next 15 months and start trying for a baby around june time 2011, and fingers crossed i am nice and slim as i going to be a bridesmaid that month aswell

What are you all up to today? Any plans for the weekend?

I haven't got anything planned, I need to buy hubby a card for our wedding anniversary on Sunday. I can't believe we are 2 yrs married on Sunday. Time is flying by. This time last year hubby was deployed in Afghan and I spend a very lonely 1st anniversary with just me, myself and I....ohhhh and the bump of course. lol

re the people asking about folic acid? I took it 6 months before i started to try as its actually really good for you and also evening primrose oil too.
i havent had a period in 7 weeks (am breastfeeding) had one 5 weeks after LO was born but nothing since. hey ho not complaining.

THis weekend hubby is working and mikey had his 3 months jabs bless him, he didnt cry when he had them but ever since he has been screaming like i have never head before.
So i have that to look forward to alone. hubs is a police officer so like today he left ghome 7am and wont be home till 1am roughly then tomorrow he starts at 12 and wont be home till 1 and then sunday starts at 7am and hoping to be home by 5. then working right through till next Friday I am just going to chill saturday as much as poss and then sunday I am off to the in laws which is 2 hours drive away

last week we had some family portrait photos (by the same lady who did our wedding photosd shes ace) and we get to view them on tuesday. I cant wait.

I think I started to take folic acid as soon as we started to TTC, but to be honest I was really crap in taking it daily. Will defo be a good girl next time and take it regularly.

I've got a mountain of laundry to do for when we go to Wales next week and I need to start packing...Nice were the days when you just threw a few things into a suitcase the night before you went somewhere. Going somewhere with a baby is an army exercise. lol Very well organized and executed. lol Actually thinking about it, I'm better organized than the army. The army couldn't even organize a piss-up in a brewery. lol

I know I've still got over a yr till I ttc but I'm glad we have this group x
Is everyone ttc or is there some ntnp. I thinks thats what we will be doing.(ntnp)I know there is certain days so I try and make sure i use these days but when we were trying for caleb i come off pill we didn't have a routine and i was pregnant after 2 months. just wondered thats all xx

ntnp - not trying but not preventing.

Not upto much this weekend, im starting postnatal aqua in the morning with one of the girls from baby group and Oh is working again all weekend. He gets in from his day job between 6 and 7 each night, has tea and then works for a mate till midnight. Cant wait till the site he is doing is finished as i might get my fiance back in an evening and weekend.
