i loved the snow!!!

i took my son sledging a few times. after a couple of hours he was asking to go home and i was whining saying i wanted another go!

managed to get all the bulky heavy shopping done with no stress too (i don't drive) cause i pulled it home on the sledge.

SNOW! Ahh! I can't imagine having it snowing here. I mean, yes there is snow... but I would have to "go to the snow" if I wanted to see it (I hope that makes sense).

My DH and I went on rented out a cabin for a weekend a few years back at the snow. We had such a fantastic time - I agree with you Danielle; hot chocolate with marshmellows all the way! It is so expensive though.... hiring the gear, lift passes etc.

It is, however, starting to get super chilly here at the moment. Bye, bye Australian Summer... with the arctic winds we are experiencing at the moment, it feels as though Winter has arrived early here! Xx.

Ooh yes Dannielle, hot chocs, duvets and chick flicks are my favourite snow day treats! Other than building snow men And I looooove mulled wine on a chilly winters eve! Still, I'd rather summer got its butt here soon - this weather is awkward, as it's not quite cold enough for a jacket, but not warm enough to go without either xx

Hiya girls

What a bloody glorious weekend we had I love the sunshine and cant wait for full blown summer as i was preggars last summer and hid away in the shade alot.

Well the not going on too much about babies trick is working a treat as my OH has mentioned it a few times and was happy to talk about it, we have decided i am NOT going back on the BCP and we will just be careful until we feel ready for the whole NTNP, then onto proper TTC next year

How was everyones weekends? I hope you all got some of the lovely sunshine too....

13 sleeps and couting down then Joe and I are off to Germany for 2 wonderful weeks with my friends and family! CAN'T WAIT!
The only downside is I won't have internet for 2 weeks. lol How will I manage without bnb and farmville. Arrrrrrrgh! I guess I didn't think that one through. lol

I had a great weekend...the sunshine was lovely. Off to town with Joe and hubby later, hopefully the weather will stay nice.

Ooooh no Anna, your chickens might die while you're away! I go back to uni today really enjoyed lounging around doing nothing for the last 3 weeks! Going to try really hard and stay focused this term though - could be the trick to getting me a job at the end of it! I'm terrible for falling asleep (literally!) and/or day-dreaming in lectures though, so we'll see how that pans out! Hope you all have a lovely day x x

hi everyone :wave:. Its nice and sunny here to. we have been out to mil and walked to dog. my freind who i used work with emailed me and aked if i was ok and he said to let him know when my maternity money finishes and he will try and get me some hours there. its only a small tesco's but its only a bus ride and would be ideal so fingers crossed.

anna- think of all the pages you will have to catch up on. But its nice to have a holiday.
I am really dont know when to come of bcp because im on a mini pill and was on microgon 30 before and was pregnant the 2nd more with coming off. im just worried this new pill take longer. might see if i can come of it the begining of 2011 fingers crossed.

Thanks Faye, it went OK but has made me really knackered. Lots of homework already too. So mean.

Got our car insurance renewal through today, and although we have been with the insurer for 2 years, have made no claims, and have got older, it's gone up! by £100! So OH is on the phone trying to fix it, and they quoted him even more than the paper quote they had sent him Apparently I cannot be the main driver (on my own car no less!) and OH the named driver, even though they have let us do this for the last 2 years. GOD they make me soooo angry. Looks like we won't be having a car for the next year at least. That will set things back a bit I should imagine x x

That really sucks Leah! Can you ring around and get quotes from other insurance companies? It makes me so mad when things like this happen - you do the right thing and insure you car and then some companies think because its a necessity they can charge what they like and you'll pay it!

We've been ringing around, and using the comparison websites, but no one seems to be able to do it for less than £1000, which is more than we paid for our first year. HSBC quoted us £1,700!! My OH has points, which were removed from his licence in Dec 2009, but still have to be declared until Dec 2010 (doesn't make sense to me to have them removed if you still have to declare them ) so a lot of insurance co's won't even touch us. But still, this is no reason for the quote from our current company to go up, surely! I just know they are trying to con us - they know that, as expensive as they are, we won't be able to better their quote just gonna have to ride it out. Fed up of being spoken to like I'm stupid by them though! I asked them why, after 2 years of custom and no claims, our quote has gone up instead of down, and they reacted like this was a completely unreasonable thing to expect!! Anyhoo, off to "school!" aww caleb was 6lb9oz and they seem so small. i would say im about a6-7 brody level. im looking forward to next one because i miss being pregnant but caleb is making me laugh so much and is changing every day so im enjoying it before he grows up to quick xx

Leah V...that really sucks...I'm so glad that we found a reasonable insurance online. I wouldn't have been prepared to pay a fortune for insurance, we don't make the money. lol I'm kinda glad I don't drive. lol And £6 for a dayticket isn't too bad. I normally try to put in as many rides as I can that day, especially when i have to go shopping by myself when hubby is away.

I think hubby is kinda broody at the moment. lol Earlier we were chilling on the bed with Joe and he said to Joe "Do you want a brother AND a sister?!" AND????? Both?! I thought we just wanted 2. lol Maybe the whole NCO cadre thing and the extra money made him want more than 2...god knows. (Rob has to pass a course >>>NCO cadre<<< in order to get a promotion in the army - if I ever say anything army related you don't get don't hesitate to ask)

Just 12 more sleeps and Joe and I are off to Germany. Whoohooo. x

That sucks about your insurance Leah, they really are rip off merchants, they put ours up by £50 a month, when I passed my test!! Surely a learner driver is more of a risk than a new driver?! I was so annoyed. As we only have one car between us I'm not sure what we will do when I'm on mat leave, whether OH will take the car or I will keep it at home so I can get out and about? Who knows!

morning all. I'm up to feed caleb. I have just put home and health channel and there is a baby programme that i havent seen before called baby days. I really cant wait to have my bump. I hope this time i can have a natural birth even if i am scared. I just hope i don't get pre eclampsia again. It's horrible with swollen feet lol x
