Buying baby things in early pregnancy

I've bought a gender neutral diaper bag, 2 packs of diapers, and I'm ordering the car seat later I found the cutest one now I just have to show dh when he gets home and if he likes it I'm getting it its gender neutral also. I have both baby boy and girl clothes already so don't need them..all tho I do buy a new coming home outfit and baby's own new blanket and new bottles all those I'll buy when I find out gender. I've had two losses but wont let fear stop me from getting the things I like when I see them.

i will probs buy something if i think its really cute or a good bargin. even though i did miscarry last time, my house is full of all of sophias baby stuff anyway, never had the heart to throw anything away, luckily!..still got packs of newborn nappies! and her in room she still has all her newborn clothes, moses basket ect. xx

The day after my husband found out i was pregnant he went and bought a bunch of clothes as a surprise lol while out getting breakfast for me. Then after he came home from work that night he came in with diapers and wipes and soothers (he calls them sookies lol ) bottles, teething toys... I was shocked! lol He painted the babies room a few days ago, mint green and chocolate brown. nice gender neutral color. the room looks gorgeous! all the walls are mint and all the trim is chocolate brown. made my heart melt to see it.. and kinda hungry because it reminds me of a mint aero bar lolol...
I love going to the stores and seeing al lthe baby stuff! My best friend/ godmother who lives 13 hours away has made herself of list of baby thing to to buy us.. so far all i know is she bought us a diaper genie teehee. I'm soooooo excited!

awww that is so sweet!!! We are doing something similar with out nursery, except the colors are reversed

Good job, I say the same thing. Its been difficult enough to wait till 12 weeks to start buying things, but now I'm in full swing baby stuff mode. Once the nursery is done, I'll really get started. So far I have 2 packs of diapers, size N & size 1, a pack of wipes, and been buying stuff to do up the nursery. I have a whole slew of things on a registery and I plan to buy them off a few items every paycheck. I'm also buying diapers and wipes every pay check...We both know how much you need those!

You cant let fear take the fun outa things... I'm going to get more diapers as I go and wipes. OH and I did buy a nice used 'my little lamb" seat that plays music and vibrates. I dont really need it as I still have one but thought it was so cute lol
