Cabbage test- I did IT! GENDER UPDATE LAST PAGE!

Hi ladies!

So been reading up about the cabbage test and have decided to try it out.

So if the cabbage water mixed with urine turns pink or red it's a boy and if it's purple it's a girl.

Has anyone done this test before? If so what were your results and what gender did u end up with?

Will post results once I do it!

Ok so I did it!

I am a little confused about the results...

So here are 3 pics. First one is the cabbage juice before I added the urine. Second is the result with urine. Third is Held up to the light which looks a bit reddish pink. Fourth is poured into a disposable bowl which looks purple!

Help!

Id say thats more of a crimson colour so a boy result

I will update this thread once I find out for sure! I can no longer stay team yellow I just have to know!

Every urine based test was a clear boy result for me and I'm having a girl! They're fun but for me didn't work. I even bought that over priced pee test from the pharmacy 😆

I have got a boy result for this, Chinese predictor, ring test, and gender experts ramzi theory! Lol.

Just gonna do as many gender theories as I can and once I find out will be so interesting to look back! I will so laugh if it turns out to be a girl hehe

That bowl really looks purple though...I'm going to go against the experts and say girl for you!

We are convinced ours is a boy...we say the same thing, we are going to laugh so much if it's a girl!

Are u going to be finding out the gender? I have a scan next tues when I will be 14 Weeks 4 days and hoping my doc can at least give me a hint although it may still be quite early

I am going to find out! I'm 12 weeks this week, and the ultrasound tech told me today she would guess boy based on the nub...but when I posted it in this forum, I've gotten two girl guesses only. Hahaha! I will get my genetic screening results in 2 weeks so I will find out then, but I'll still want to "see for myself"!

Ah definitely! I think I may just go ahead and do the chromosomal test to find out if I can't tell by Tuesday lol.

Can't wait to know what you're having for sure either! Whatever we get I just hope they are healthy and happy!

We are having a boy! So the cabbage test was correct for this one!
