I've read the official list of food to avoid from the government of Quebec, understood it, and decided to ignore some of the recommendations: my steak won't be well done (however I will cook it a bit longer than I usually do just in case) and my yolks will keep on being runny (the texture of a cooked yolk makes me gag, there is no way I am going to be sick everyday just because there is a tiny tiny risk).
About caffeine, here the government limits it to two cups of coffee everyday, while my midwife said three, four cups were still safe. I guess the important thing is to remain hydrated no matter how many cups you drink.
