Lollipop, I have just posted on your other thread. :flower:

Fabulous Moshi Monsters cupcakes, they turned out really, really well!

These are my last weeks cakes. I have a whiskey bottle cake to make later on and I am really excited to make it, I have wanted to do one for ages! :happydance:

For someone who wanted 'bright and flowery with springy things coming out of the top' :haha:

racing car. Not at all happy with this one, I had a migraine while making it so rushed and it's more 'childlike' than I wanted, but posted anyway.

I'd probably go for two bowl shaped cakes for a bum. If you google you'll get some ideas.

Made this last night/today, my last one for a week or so.

Wow all your cakes are really amazing!!

I hope it's ok to add mine :flower:
It's my first attempt at decorating a cake so it was very slow going and is a bit messy but overall I'm happy with it :)

RedLily, I think that cake's fab! Are they little Peppa Pig characters on top? Cute!

You should be able to loan a number "2" cake tin from your local cake baking/supply shop... a lot of bakers will also loan their tins out as it brings in a few extra pennies, and I know that some loan out tins on ebay xx

I need some help please. I need a recipe for some icing that can be piped, but is not too sweet. I have tried a few buttercream recipes and find them way too sickly sweet. Any ideas anyone?

How about using a cream cheese based icing as for carrot cake?

You need to use candy melts to coat them

    Hi all,

I'm going to try and attempt leopard print cupcakes for my SIL's birthday on the 26th. Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also I love mycakeschool - would love to subscribe but is it really worth the $30.00? I don't know what that is in GBP though, has anyone got a subscription what do you think?

Not a cake (although I love baking cakes). Martha Stewart's Blueberry Tarte. The shortbread crust is to die for!
