Calling all Fur-parents!

Can I have a rant!? So my sister got a puppy for christmas and has it living outside in this freezing temperature They built a dog house but still the poor puppy must be freezing. They also give him a bath with the water hose outside...my mom asked why she didnt bathe the poor puppy with warm water and she said because she was using the hot water too cook dinner Poor puppy, I feel so sad

On the good note I'm thinking about getting a poodle or a german sheaperd next month or in march

why is she bathing the poor thing in the first place in this freezeing weather she needs to let the poor dogs oils build up in its coat to keep it warm how old is the puppy? and we had a golden we ended up having him live outside all the time but he didnt go out till he was a older dog and was gradually gotten used to the cold as he lived in the passage way for a while so he was sheltered and was out most of the day then got put in his run with his big kennel and blankets and on really cold days he would have something warm to eat just to get his day off right and warm his bones abit i was only small then but I worry about my fur baby who is not far past 1 an is small going outside just for a wee with out a coat on at the moment

How cute! I did a double take too...thought it WAS a dog at first...maybe that's just because the bed and bones registered in my brain first so I was expecting a dog

Milo has puked twice this morning all full of bone and been retching a good bit we are watching him like a hawk he seems happy but did after the first time he puked if he carrys on I'll be calling the vet as don't want to risk him having bone stuck anywhere they are like whole bits of done some are rather large :S he got it from the garden he must of hidden it last time he had a bone and we were struggleing to get him in last night do must of been what he was doing urgh the little horror boy he now on the sofa curled up next to me please keep fingers crossed he doesn't carry on pukeing please

He right as rain now the little horror think he does it to get me all worried or he heard the word vet and thought he better behave lol although he does like the vets coz he gets a big fuss and lodes of treats lol

Puppies are hard work my milo is so naughty and so hard to train if we don't have him in bed with us he howls and crys and causes a mess he has chewed our door frames he is mainly naughty about being left alone as he gets anxious about it by the has been hard work I think the easiest thing was getting him off lead and to stay close if he sees another dog we can forget about that and have to go catch him but he is still over excited about other dogs being so younge

His name is whiskey! He's very attached to my OH, sits everyday on the window ledge waiting for OH to get home lol x

I was trying so hard to get a picture for you guys the other night but whenever I'd go to take a picture they wouldn't stay together.

Anyway, I guess Soup is in heat and she's apparently good at seducing different species because her and my dog, Finnigan (the puggle) were attempting to do the nasty. He was even nibbling on her ear and stuff. It was the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

theraphosidae - any reason why you guys decided not to spay? Some times I wish I had of waited for one litter from my oldest, but not wanting all those kittens, I would feel so guilty not knowing if they were going to good homes lol....I'm a bit of an over thinker.

We got both our cats spayed after Cleric went into heat once and we didn't sleep for like four days.

She was really awkward about it, too. DH would be trying to use the computer, and she would walk up to him, turn her arse to him, and just wave it at him while wailing. I was like "That's it. She's trying to take my man."

So I took them to the clinic and got them both spayed. Sometimes we wish that we'd let Mage have kittens because DH thinks she's so pretty. She also tries to "mother" things. I had an app on my phone that made kitten noises, and one time I set it in the floor making noises, and she took my phone into her little bed-nest and tried to mother it. It was adorable.

The Puppy's name is Bentley (baby ben) hehe and he just turned one year old on the 15th.
My Kitty's name is Trouble (bubble kat) and he is just over 3 years old..
