Calling all Fur-parents!

A picture of my oldest, Sophia, at my wedding. :cloud9:

Awwww. I don't think my cat would like it if I put a leash on him. He hardly likes it when I pick him up. :haha:

tverb, she is pretty used to it because I started when she was young. You'll have to start early with your next cat :haha:

I was able to train mine to be ok with it around the age of five. She is never allowed outside unless she is on her harness. And we always do it around meal time so she gets a big "Treat" after it.

Here is her in her harness and her bat cat costume.

Awww yes, the treat factor! lol My girl knows she gets a treat after the leash or dress up and she expects it! lol

Wow, I love this thread! Sorry I'm a bit late to the party :flower: I actually have worried about how my fur babies will feel about a baby coming into the picture. I thought I was being silly :haha:

Pepper is my big fat kitty that I "rescued" about a year ago. He is a tuxedo kitty with a little white bowtie for a mustache. He is 14 years old. He technically belonged to my neighbors but...I didn't steal him, honest! He moved in with us. His owner said she was sick of him running outside all the time and didn't care if he came back. It was hot outside at this point, the peak of summer and he has a very thick coat so he started running in our house to cool of and would trot back outside when he was ready. One day I found him in a fight with a fox !!! He is declawed but somehow held his own and came out of it with only a cut on his ear. From that day on he became strictly an indoor (very spoiled) cat. I love him so much, can't imagine life without him!

My other kitty is a rescue named Moo. She's brown and white and very petite. She is a very proper cat and will only drink her water out of a glass, filtered water with ice :haha: She is the sweetest cat I've ever had and has never once bitten or scratched me. She is almost 3 years old, she was 9mos when we got her. Incidentally, we named her Michiko, Michi (pronounced mee-chee) for short when we got her. Somewhere along the line she was nicknamed Moo and it stuck. Honestly, no idea how at happened!

Hope you don't mind me crashing the thread :flower:

Welcome, Macy, Pepper and Moo! :flower:

You'll have to share some pics now! :winkwink:

I worry about how my furkids will react too to a baby, but I think they will do better than someone with only one pet. My girls have all had to get used to someone(cat) new and have done really well. My poor BnB pal had trouble with her single cat Tezka....she was peeing in the baby's room and on her things and just basically turned from a diva to a brat. :nope: They are still trying to find ways to get her to adjust to the baby.

Oh man, I hope Pep doesn't start to pee everywhere! I was dogsitting my in laws yorkie once and he decided to pee wherever he pleased. Marking his territory I guess? Moo is much to proper to even consider peeing outside the box :haha:

Here are my Moo and Pepper. Pepper is the one who appears to be a beeched whale

They can be such little stinkers! I thought I was having a problem with my oldest peeing RIGHT outside the litter box....found out she just isnt squatting enough...the pee just shoots straight back and she likes being close to the edge....we fixed the problem by using those plastic storage bins instead of a regular litter box, so now he stream just hits the walls of the bin rolls right down!

I said all that because we thought she was being a stinker and didn't want to share her box with her sisters.:dohh:

Awwww, so cute! Pep would make a perfect date for my Sophia (her pic is up there at the top in the dress:haha:). I'll have to take a new pic of my biggest girl Sadie.

Sophia is so cute in her dress! And Pep has his tux on already, he is ready for a date!

Good thinking about using the big bin! I might have to try that! Ours had a cover on it and a flap and I feel sorry for Pep sometimes because he looks so claustrophobic in there!

My girls have an easy birthday to remember. It's hubs's birthday!

Introducing our furbaby to the thread, Ralph was born April 30th 2014. He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, the biggest love bug i know and dotes on our two children. He was supposed to be our 'last child' but thats now changed :haha: We cant imagine life without him now :hugs:
Ralph enjoys a raw diet, loves to learn new tricks, loves chasing balls at the field but his favourite thing is his sneaky hour on mummys bed before its time to go to his own.
