25/07/2011 I and a lot of other ladies underwent the lap for many diff reasons. The original post was very popular and was wondering how we all got on. I am really curious to find out if it was worth while for anyone.

My op - unblock both tybes, drained all the infected fluid, overian drilling and removal of scars

Results - One tube resealed, one tube free and flowing.

One pregnancy unfortunatly didnt stick

Was it worth it - Yeah i would do it again

Come on ladies lets share the truth xx

Mine ws on 11/11/11 ...
mild endo removed , thats it .. open tubes
got pg in Dec 2011.... did not stick .. any ways i have a hope that I can get pg naturally ... and lap was not a bad experince for me ... far far better than HSG

lap date: 23rd march 2012
findings: endo found and removed, cyst removed from left ovary, ovaries drilled, dye test complete!

I am booked for lap next week. Have been diagnosed with blocked tubes via HSG. Will let all know about the results once I am over and done with it. Fingers crossed that my tubes are unblocked. Please God please.

I love Lap threads!

Had mine March 2nd this year.

- Endo removed
- Ovarian drilling completed
- D&C
- Dye test done (which came back fine)

CD1 TODAY, going onto Clomid days 5-7. Feeling positive!

Kermy, I noticed you are a mum, did you have any trouble conceiving first time round?

Indee - what is the plan of attack for you, are you going onto Clomid or anything? Or going to just see how it all goes naturally? Have you had AF yet?

I am about to start my Clomid tomorrow (it is actually days 5-9), so feeling quietly optimistic! :)

-Endo found and cleared up. I was very surprised as I had no symptoms.
-Open tubes.

They say give it 6 months after your lap to conceive. But I'm already 2 cycles down with nothing. 4 more to go!

Hey :hi:

My fs to take clomid straight after, af due in 2 weeks. currently in process of trying to get a prescription or an appt, at the moment my notes are stuck in the day surgery unit still!
Think i am about to ov so am going to try and dtd, bit worried its going to hurt as only 11 days past op but don't want to miss a chance!
Exciting that your clomid starts tomorrow, do you get side effects? Xx

Kermy, how frustrating you can't get your script, I guess you are still a couple of weeks away anyway, fingers crossed you get it in time for next cycle! What dose has you FS prescribed? Have you had Clomid before? Hope your BD'ing wasn't too painful hun :( maybe with a bit of luck you might get your BFP and won't have to take the Clomid...

Last time I took Clomid, I definately had the hot flushes (not as bad if I take the tablets at night), and I was also a little moody, bit like PMS moods really. I am intrigued about how my body will react this time round, now that everything is in 'working order' . I have to have a blood test day 21, just to make sure the Clomid isn't overstimulating, as last time this is what happened. Twins are an interesting thought though, as crazy as they sound, I think I would quite like it ;) .

I was on 50mg from day 2-6. I didn't have any side effects from it, i took it at night which i think helps.
I too like the idea of twins! :D
how you finding the clomid so far? What dose are you on? X

I am only on 25mg Indee, so minimal. About to take my 2nd dose tonight, and don't appear to have any side effects yet. I caught on after about my 4th cycle of clomid to take it at night, and I agree it definately helps with the hot flushes! :)

Are you getting any twinges or a positive OPK yet?

glad its going ok for you hun, very exciting!
i got a positive opk yesterday :yipee:

My op - 16/04/2012 lap&dye + hysteroscopy due to inconclusive HSG, suspected chocolate cyst and polyp

Results - all fine, biopsy results are due next month

Was it worth it - no way!

pregnancy - remains to be seen, have not BD yet

Hi I had a lap and dye two weeks back. Was diagnosed with blocked tubes via HSG. The lap was a successful one and both the tubes were unblocked. Was also diagnosed with very early stages of endometriosis during lap which supposedly caused the blockages. My FS is putting me on BCP for two months during which the endo would hopefully cure and then the go ahead for ttc.Good luck to all you ladies.

Briss - sorry to hear you didn't have much success with your lap, I hope these procedures made things 'shift' enough for you to get your BFP soon (they say the 'dye' can move all sorts of gunk from your tubes, so who knows). I have everything crossed for you hun :)

Anne - Great to hear you had your blockages 'unblocked' 2 months wait will hopefully set you up for a BFP month 3.

Inee - How are things travelling for you hun? you must be well and truly within the 2WW now, do you feel confident you 'got the job done'... haha

:haha: job was done but af flew in yesterday, first clomid pill popped tonight. fingers crossed for this cycle!
