Can alcohol prevent implantation?

I am 3dpo today and tomorrow evening I am going out for drinks for a good friends birthday and I want to drink, I would like to say I will limit myself to a couple glasses of wine but realistically there is a possibility that it will end up being quite a bit more.
I know drinking at this stage would not affect any potential pregnancy in terms of complications in the health of a baby but I want to know will alcohol stop me from implanting?

Newp! I was drinking heavily the night we conceived and the following weekend before I got my BFP. Alcohol will have no impact on the egg traveling down the fallopian tube and/or implanting into the uterus - drink on! It might be your last chance for a long time

Haha thanks, that is what I was thinking, if it was any other reason to not drink I would happily miss a night out but thinking that perhaps this could be my last chance is very very tempting!
I looked on google and all I could find where forums where women were having a massive go at other women asking the same question saying that you can't drink when pregnant and I couldn't find an answer about implantation.

Congratulations! It sounds like you really got to enjoy those last weeks before getting pregnant!

I agree with purplecupcake... have your drinks. A friend told me once that her doc said to drink until it's pink (the pregnancy test). Obviously you want to make sure you're testing enough to catch and not drink post BFP, but enjoy. I drank during conception and until I got my BFP, because I had no clue!
