hey peeps i had a missed misscarriage nearly 4 weeks ago and ive been having sore boobs and been really tired and felt sick at wrk yesterday morn so i took a pregnancy test 2day and it has a faint positive line but well enough 2 c its there im confused cos could it still b hormones from the baby i lost really dont know a lot of things on the internet say u only have pregnancy hormones in ur body 4 up 2 2 weeks after can any1 help x

Sorry for your loss x I can't be much help but I would go and see your Dr. I had a mmc discovered 2 weeks ago and EPRC 12 days ago. I had been bleeding still and having all symptoms of pregnancy still. Im now on antibiotics as Drs think its an infection after EPRC but suspect it could be still 'retained products' - hate that term! Im supposed to go back to the dr tomorrow if the antibiotics havent helped. Im not bleeding now but still feel sick and stomach pains and very tired. The Dr said if this was the case they would get me another scan to check everything had cleared out properly horrible to think may have to have a 2nd EPRC. Did you have an EPRC with the mmc? Do you know if you had a scan after to check? Im still awaiting my hospital letter so unsure if i had one but my local GP said we should - but I dont think I did! xx

i had a d and c and everthing taken out nearly 4 weeks ago and didnt bleed a lot after as the docs said they removed everything x

Its 'Evacuation of Retained Products of Conception' - i was told some people call it D&C but apparently D&C is slightly different? x

Are you trying again love I think you could be pregnant again? Most sources say 2 weeks to get the hormone down to negative but we are all different. Did you test negative after the D&C? Best to keep testing every 48 hours and see what happens. If some tissue was left behind it can cause a molar pregnancy but it's very rare. Hope this is it for you.
