Can anyone explain? BFP on ic BFN at docs??!

Well as you probably know i have been chasing since my erpc on 3rd April... well they have slowly been getting lighter and lighter... so i done on on sunday night it had faint positive, handed a sample in at the doctors to test, then done one monday night, slightly darker but still faint but blatantly there... yesterday done one last night and was again slightly darker but faint.... then i got my results from doctors today and it was so how come am i still getting on IC's? im due first AF this weekend and we havent been trying but havent been preventing and i really thought i could be pregnant again but surely not if the docs urine test came back neg...

hi hun its probably due to the fact doctors tests arent as sensitive as the i.c's and thats why you are getting on the i.c's but not the doctors tests.

hope you get some answers soon hun. its strange the tests are getting a bit darker though. x

Puzzling!!! Maybe it only comes up as positive if it's over 25miu or 50miu at the docs?

Do you think you might have ovulated already then?

Doctors tests arent as accurate and sensitive as what others are....youd think they were though!

Awww thnks soo much for replying, my favourite bnb'ers hahaha yeah we kinda not trying but not preventing and im sure i ov'd either week and a half or a week ago. I really think i could be pregnant as all my symptoms have started up but i really dont know. I havent a clue at all...

i done an opk earlier as i thought i would buy some... it was as negative as u could get... not a line on it when i ALWAYS had lines on them... im finding things sooo strange at the moment!

I'm finding things mega strange too, hormones & symptoms all over the place!

Was the OPK an IC one? I'm getting negtive OPK's too now, finally!

Did you try any other brand of HPT?

Good news your hormones dropped so quickly tho tootsy!

I'm doing OK, just waiting.. & waiting....& waiting... lol!

ooo tootsy i really hope you are pg then and the are a sign of a new life growing inside you. good luck hunni. try not to worry about the opk not showing positive as they never did when i did them when newly pg. maybe this time it just doesnt want to pick it up lol.

just wanted to say to dan-o must be so hard for you having to wait to ttc again (know that feeling all too well lol) i do hope your hormones drop soon so you can get cracking on making a baby x
