Hi I've got an 20 month old and will being having number two very soon. I never used a sling with my first but have a feeling I'm going to need one now, especially if I'm at toddler groups and running around with the the older one.

There are so many to choose from. Can anyone recommend a good one pleae?

Thanks

We use the Ergo and I can't recommend it highly enough. It's so comfortable to wear, really distributes the weight well, and is easy altered if you're swapping between you and your OH a lot. You can get an insert for when LO is newborn, so it can be used from birth. It's honestly one of my favourite baby products! Good luck with the new baby! :flower:

We use the ergo as well as the moby. I use the moby around the house due to the ergo being a bit too much with the infant insert when inside (although my LO has outgrown the infant insert but isn't quite big enough to be in the ergo itself).

You can get a wrap like the moby from the sling lady I don't have a link unfortunately but I would recommend a wrap for a newborn. I was worried about tying it but found it quite easy after watching a few videos.

I had a fitted sling and didn't really care for it - DS doesn't like being squished up. I wear the moby the most - shopping, around the house, everywhere! I also have a mei tei which I only use when walking the dogs, b/c it's fast and easy to put on. I recently bought a maya wrap, which is gorgeous. I use that when we go out and I want to look cute. I really want an ergo, too, though. It's kinda expensive, so we'll see.

A mei tai is my firm favourite. I have one and use it all the time. You can use it from birth up until your lo is a toddler. Its outstanding. I have this one:

Baby hawk mei tai for me every time! It's been a godsend xxx

A stretchy wrap like a moby or a sleepy wrap are great for a newborn.
