Can I add cheese sauce?

Hi,

Just wondering if I can make a cheese sauce to go over broc and cauliflower for my LO? Are they allowed milk yet? Should I use EBM to make the sauce?

Doesn't sound like a problem to me! I think they can have a little cow's milk in cooking after 6 months so if you were making it for the whole family then I'd just do that. If it's just for LO then I'd use EBM or formula, mainly because we have low fat milk at home and LO should have full fat...

They say that LO can have cows milk in cooking from 6 months hun - he's practically that now so I don't see it being a problem x

Cow and gate make a cheese sauce, its from 4 months onwards x

Sounds yummy My HV told me we can give Austin cows milk with his food but just not on its own - its ok mixed with something such as weatabix etc
