Can I request dissolvable stiches?

really?? what did they do when it pulled out? i had the end of the line come abit apart but they just stuck sticker stiche on and it seemed fine x

I was seeing the nurse because the area got infected (even thought I kept it clean) and it started to split back open a little. She said they should have dissolved before that point and half of them were still there so she had to pull them out. It felt better afterwards though because they were tugging at me.
