Can I use the angelcare monitor without the sensor pad?

We stopped using the monitor when LO started moving about as it was going off during the night when she moved. Since then we have used a video monitor. We go away early Friday morning and need to pack the video monitor on Thursday so will use the angelcare for one night. Is there a way I can turn the sensor pad off so I can just use it for sound?

Yes there is, it tells u in the instructions...
I think this is the bit

1. Press the MENU button once; ffashing icons will appear (current setting).
2. Select your chosen combination with the ARROWS UP or DOWN (picture of a face with little speech lines).
3. Press SELECT to confirm your choice.
4. Press EXIT if you are finished programming (or MENU if you would like to go to MENU 2).

Yeah we use ours without sensor now we've taken the side off cot. Above instructions sound right. I googledd the instruction manual and it's all on angelcare website as a pdf file
