Can implantation start the same time as af?

It really depends on how long your LP is. If you normally only have a 10-12 day lp, then yes it can. Implantation generally happens between 7-11dpo(6 and 12 happen but are the more rare) and IB can happen anywhere from day of to two days after.
This is why some women mistake IB for a light period. It does sometimes happen if you have slightly heavy IB instead of just a few drops.
If you suspect IB instead of af then test.

It can if implantation took longer. A lot of,women mistake it for a period so I would say yes

i have a short cycle of 23 days only.

That doesn't mean you have a short lp. You could ovulate super early. If you ovulate on cd 9 or 10 then you have a 13 or 14 day lp. You can only find your lp properly from bbt and can guess close from opk.

Sorry for TMI photos but does this look like implantation? Or what is this? I'm 8DPO but started wiping pinkish blood yesterday. Late lastnight I had light brown on my panties but very little. What is that stuff in the toilet though? 😦

that could be ib or the beginning of an early af or light break through bleeding.

I have read online somewhere that implantation can happen and then a few days later get ib and that's why many women mistake it for their period
