Pointless post but I just wanted to say how much I love breastfeeding
I didnt breastfeed my daughter as I was only 18 and was abit immature, now im 25 and I love it! I was initially just going to try it but I am so pro breastfeeding now! I express occasionally for OH to feed Seth when im in the bath etc and I actually cried when he had his first bottle, even though it was still breastmilk, I never realised I had got so attached and it was the worry of him having nipple confusion but its been fine! Ive had no pain or problems latching on so ive been really lucky! I know everyone isnt able to bf'd but I think everyone should try! I cant imagine not doing it now! I breastfeed proudly especially in public I just LOVE it!!!

I love it too! Pheebs is now 7.5 months and I have no idea when I'll give up. Initially I thought 6 months.... but I love doing it to much!

Yeah there isnt many Seths about either...everyone I meet tells me how much they love it
I know what you mean, Seth has been attached to me pretty much all day, but I love it defo guna be hardnto stop when the time comes! Really cant see me using formula ever! I cant believe how passionate ive become about bfing! Sambatika - you dont live far from me! Im from Coventry xx

Leigh - Only about 30 miles! I have given Pheebs formula twice and I hated it both times. Absolutely no idea why as its perfectly OK and I was bought up on it

I know I dont know why either when my DD was FF but I just feel so strongly about bfing now! My friends baby was born at 27 weeks weighing 2lb10oz and spent 10 weeks in nicu before coming home, my friend exclusively pumped for 3 months and as soon as she went on preemie formula she was constipated and sick, you can see the difference right there! Whereabouts are you from exactly? Somewhere alot nicer than cov im sure lol, cant wait to be out of this place xx

Oh ladies, I am with you. I just LOVE breastfeeding! It's an amazing bond, and such a great tool. Today Anna was playing with her Baba and hurt her foot, i cuddled her, she nursed and she's all better!

I told myself prior to having a baby I would nurse for 1 year, and 1 year only and here i am at almost 9 months with no plans to stop!

Sambatiki - yeh I hate Coventry, its so rough and filled with nothing but horrible chavs! Like that horrid girl who beat that poor old sikh man the other day? That was in my town centre its not somewhere I want to bring my children up! My areas nice but overall its horrid! Planning to move when we buy, we rent atm!

My LO seems to be getting really unsettled feeding atm keeps going rigid and crying I do t know if my letdowns too strong I feel like a failure as he rarely finishes a feed because of it! Ive been docs and HV but nothings come fron it x

Its every feed now, it wasnt before! But its not if I express so I think its a forceful letdown! My friend gave me some infant gaviscon to try as her daughter has it and after 1 sachet he hasnt been sick but did cry still! First time in days he hasnt been sick after a feed, but as hes gaining weight docs wont take me seriously! Baby gaviscon is known for constipation though so im in a catch 22 situation as I dont know what would be worse! Ive read some tips on forceful letdown to try and work around it xx

Yes pheebs got constipated with it but I used to mix a whole days worth in a pot and then just give her it little and often rather than alot 3x a day iygwim x

Did it worj for her reflux? I havent gave him any since yesterday about 7pm just been feeding him in different positions and he seems loads better! Hasnt been sick and hasnt had any screaming fits xx
