Can someone explain to me why....

I and many others clean the house from top to bottom when its Christmas.

I do it every year and i have no idea why.

Anyone else clean house before Santa comes?

Yep I done some today, I am going to gut the bathroom tomorrow and then on Christmas Eve I give everything a quick once over so the house is all clean for Santa coming

yep im the same, i like to make sure all the ironing is done and put away etc.

its harder to keep it tidy when u have a 6yr old and a 4yr old running about ALL day

i do keep saying tht if there bedrooms arnt tidy santa wont come

i hate ironing. i always put it off then moan theres loads to do, but like u i wont have it all over the hpuse over xmas, wud drive me mad!

I did the kitchen on Sunday and scrubbed my cupboards and fridge. Washed my livingroom rug, cleaned my sofas and hoovered amelies ball pit yday LOL Today Ive done my upstairs bathroom and will prob do my downstairs one too The bedrooms are pretty tidy anyway so I just have the floors to do and a quick tidy up and change the beds on xmas eve

did it yday !! cleared all morgans older toy/toys hes 2big 4, shut them away, moved the others, hoovered every where , even changed the bedding and cleaned kitchen

We've been cleaning up all week - but leaving the floors/bedrooms til xmas eve. Cleaned out our "tip" room the other day. We have a bedroom that was full of all our junk! It was getting to the stage you couldn't even get into it We've cleaned out the hidey hole under the stairs. Hopefully visiting family tomorrow so on xmas eve during the day I'm going to go into cleaning mode and get it all done during teh day so in the evening I can relax maybe with a wee drinky poo!

yep me too mine will get cleaned tomo morning when LO is at nursery. I even have a bit of a spring clean having a big sort out and throwing stuff away. I think i do it as it's so nice sitting down relaxing on xmas eve knowing everything is clean and tidy also make room for new stuff
