yup ive been doing mine im doing all my washing tomorrow so I dont have to do any unless its urgent cmas eve or christmas day cleaning bathroom tomorrow too x x
As soon as xmas eve comes I go on a mad cleaning hissy, I write lists and have post its all over the place.
Why I insist that skirting boards should be scrubbed god (santa) only knows, I always promise my self to have a chilled one but never works that way.
I think it is because I always end up with a houseful, but they see my house 51 other weeks of the year so no that it is not noramally spotless
I think I'm worse this year as it is the first year I have worked Xmas week since I had the kids, I normally keep upto it but Kids and hubby off this week it has gone a bit crazy, although Ant has started working through my list
Yep I go crazy cleaning as well. I spent hour's last night cleaning out the messy cupboard and corner in the living room and doing washing drying ironing and scrubbing the kitchen clean including the fridge lol. Today havn't done anything as was out all day and working this evening so knackered anyway! Tomorrow food shopping to do and then start scrubbing the carpets and hoovering (went and bought carpet cleaner was LO's birthday party and I have red icing on a cream carpet and bbq sauce to get out ) Then bedrooms and bathroom to do and change bedding etc then done lol
I was thinking this exact same thing earlier, I even bought a new rug for the living room because the other was too dirty and I didn't have time to clean it it's crazy! I'd hate Santa to think I'm a skank though
Yes i do!! i have like a spring clean!! dunno why tho!! madness!
Maizie is off to her dads today for the night so i am doing the cleaning once she has left...
xx
I think about this too. You clean your house top to bottom for a birthday celebration, other celebrations and Christmas. Why? It all goes to disaster zone in a blink of an eye.
Needless to say, it's nice to have a clean house for when Santa comes
Oh God yes ... I'm just glad to hear I'm not the only one
Mind you I'm not as bad as my mother used to be ... she even insisted on dusting and hoovering on Christmas Day - once first thing in the morning and again after presents had been opened
