I had a trans-vaginal ultrasound yesterday at 9w1d but for the life of me I have no clue what the placenta looks likes or where it is at!

My understanding is trans-vaginal the image is exact and does not need to be flipped? And if the placenta is on the right it's a boy and if it's on the left it's a girl?

Where is my placenta? :haha:

Thank you so much!

Sorry I think my picture loaded sideways!

To use the ramzi theory you need to be between 6-8 weeks and the person doing the ultrasound needs to tell you where the placenta is a s most times you can't plainly see it. Transvaginal is the true image. Abdominal needs to be flipped mirror image. But yes, placenta on right it's supposed to be a boy, left supposed to be a girl.

Congrats on a healthy baby!
