Can TTC mess up cycles?

Hi all. I am driving myself crazy so I thought I would post my question. I have been off the pill for about 8 months now. My cycles regulated very quickly and I was on a 28 day cycle without fail for the last 7 months. We just started TTC this past month and the witch was due on Tuesday 6th of April. On April 3 I spotted a little which was a little odd but not completely unheard of for me. On Tuesday, I thought the witch had come but ended up just being just a few spots. Now it is 2 days later and still just spots? Sometimes when I wipe there is a little pink but that is it! Today I feel a little crampy, like I could start to flow anytime. So I would now be CD30 or maybe CD1 but I have always been 28 days. Can TTC mess up your cycle and why would this happen? Thanks in advance for any opinions!
