:winkwink: Or is that a stupid question

I dont have a ring sling, I have got a mei tei and a woven wrap. Dont suppose you can do hip carries with either of those? and if so, how?
And is it possible to have Lo facing outwards? Its his favourite position atm, if I hold him facing in to me he lunges and wriggles to get facing outwards ....

I have a ring sling and cant see how you could hip carry in any way than the usual tbh

i haven't tried it yet but i wondered with my wrap sling whether you can hip carry by - it's hard to explain - putting the cross bit for their legs on your side and the cross which is usually on your back on the top of your opposite shoulder to side baby is sitting on.

dunno if that makes sense - you could try but i haven't! might do in the morn!!

it isnt advisable to carry LO facing out in any position. When LO is cradled into you it is better for your back. Just try carrying LO facing out for any length vs facing inward. I didnt know this until recently myself. LO can be just as nosy facing in :p or if that doesnt work, a back carry is good for nosy bubs
