can you ov without +opk

i am giving up hope waiting for a +opk.

does everyone get +opk apart from me?

I am due to ok tommorow/monday i guess.

but i have never ever had one.

i have never ov'd later than CD12 but i guess my temps will show one way or another and if i still have not +opk i will give them up on my next cycle..... but hopefully i wont need to!!!

I know a few women who have never had a +OPK but temp and track EWCM and do in fact ovulate...so yeah. You can.

Hey , just wondering are you testing twice a day? I didn't get a positive for months then I changed to testing twice a day at 10am and 5pm and hey presto I caught it every time after that. The rise can be short lived and very easily missed. x

Yup, at bout 4pm then 10 pm. No lines at ten on ic but ones at 4pm but mot darker than control line.

Didn't think am urine was any good for opks

I'm just glad I get ov pains otherwise wudnt really know as I lack ewcm too!!

hey hunnie, i think testing first time at 4pm is a bit late and maybe why u not getting a true pos, opks are mysterious bloody things i used them for just over a year but i always got my pos opk b4 ov but then im a true poas addict and tested like 4 times a day from cd13 many also say AM urine u will never get a pos with but i have used FMU with them many a time and got my pos i just found the opk i took later that day was alot stronger.
many women miss there surge as sometimes the surge can only last 3 hours hence why some miss it but do in fact ov, also some women never get a true dark pos as there LH surge isnt as strong as others but if ur temping and monitoring CM and then get a dark opk but just lighter than control line the chances are that is ur pos and thats as pos as it gonna get, i dnt use opks anymore not because i had probs with them or anything as im a lucky person and have never missed my surge sometimes it lasts 3 days i just stopped coz i dnt need them anymore iv been TTC so long i just "know" when im oving now, if unsure of ur test results huns u can always post pics in here and us girls will confirm for u too xxxx

i also get ov pains sometimes quite badly and have to lay down for while, this cycle they really hurt lasted 2 days i even took some paracetamol, but then yesterday my left side started so im thinking i MAY have relased to eggs as i never get double sided ov pains and the left side was DEFO an ov pain , weirdly if i wasnt TTC and knew myself inside out id worry about the ov pains i get just glad i know what they are

I hate OPKs. I never get a positive even though I test at least twice a day - but I'm pregnant now so must be ovulating. Just every couple of days and you won't miss it, I guess. It is annoying, but it's not going to stop you getting pregnant. If you temp at least you'll know afterwards. Don't stress too much - they are not that accurate (although I stressed!!).

I've never seen a positive one testing twice a day with 10mIU ones. I just class the darkest one I get (which isn't so dark at all) as the positive on my FF chart! I do definitely ovulate!
