can you ovulate twice in one cycle?

this is so strange.. i had like a bucket load of EWCM one week ago... then creamy white followed by dryish for a few days.. the last night (6 days later) i got more EWCM... Is that strange??? now i have creamy white again.

If you can ovulate twice in one cycle and so close together does that mean when we BD the first time i got EWCM i wouldn't have gotten pregnant? if so i woudn't have ovulated again - impossible to can't get pregnant twice in one month!!!

not due to test for another 6 days... am i out of the game already!

so confused!!!

Yes you can OV twice. Thats how non-identical twins happen!!! ooooh you could have twins!!

I don't think you can ovulate twice in 1 month - I've recently started temping and charting and think its invaluable in getting to know yr body and the signs it gives you when you ovulate - unlike opks it doesn't tell you when yr due to ovulate - it tells you 3 days after but after a few cycles you will see a pattern of around which cd you ovulate and can then time bd to coincide with that - also you'll also be more able to decipher the clues yr body gives you.
The book Taking Charge of Your Fertility is also really good and explains everything to do with your cycle and how to temp and time bd to get pg.

you can relise 2 eggs in 1 month but it would be really close togethere as when the proestron (sp) starts it stops eggs being relists

thanks... i did an OPK last nite and fot a faint line... i know a faint line isn't a sign of ovulating as it has to be as dark as the other line. Could it means i've come to the end of ovulation and the test is picking up on this. Or could it mean i'm about to ovulate? will do another day and see what i get. Or could it mean it's picking up on pregnancy hormone early on? due to test in 5 days... If i ovulated when i first thought... have to wait and see i supose!
