Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

 Well I remember at least three different outfits, there may have been more

probably should have changed Hannah at some point, I really did have more clothes for her, but as active as she is she's usually disgusting at the end of the day no matter what  And I'm STILL trying to get her tights clean

I should spend a bit more on me and less on leeanne-she might appreciate her mommy looking nice lol

Mommy's definitely need to spoil themselves... says the Mom who doesn't spend anything on herself...

Either that or buy some new ones.... LOL.

I find formula stains like crazy! The good start stuff wasn't bad, but Enfamil is crazy!

I've never had any problems with formula stains  We use Good Start though so maybe that is why? Food she usually doesn't eat clothed  But she crawls around and gets into everything plus going outdoors is just ewwwwww with her

Haven't had any formula stains here, but Helena never spits up...

Now that she is into food...we have a lot of carrot stains. I HATE STAINS!! :( Ruining my beautiful baby clothes collection.

Oh, speaking of stains, do you guys bleach your bibs? I figure a bib is meant for stains, so that the clothes do not get stained. My GrandmaInLaw got mad at me the other day and said I should be soaking the stains and then bleaching the bibs?

I have no idea what you're supposed to do with anything  Anytime LeeAnne spits up I change her and throw the outfit in the wash (yup our hot water bill is super $$, I do about 5 loads of laundry a day with sometimes only 1 thing it!)
My mom said that for stains to just soak it in hot water and that will be fine until you do a load. I've never heard of bleaching bibs tho ?

She was so mad that her bib had a stain on it.

I am not gonna waste my time doing anything special with them.

I would do 5 loads a day if I had a washer. :D I love having clean stuff.

I treat any clothes that have formula dribbled on them with Baby Oxyclean Spray... it's less than $5 at Wal Mart and has saved so many outfits (Elyse sometimes forgets how to swallow her formula? Well used to anyway.)...

Elyse has so much clothing I could not do laundry for literally 3 weeks, at least.
She has a huge bin of clothes that are for 12mo +,
One of those under the bed storage boxes that's all 6-12mo items that need to be hung,
A large dresser (like one of those really long ones that has 7 drawers??) full of clothes for under 1 year,
A bin of clothes that she's outgrown/won't get to wear (ie: someone bought a 0-3mo snowsuit for us?? and all her NB stuff)

AND clothes I'm donating to this special school for teen mothers here -- 3 of those giant diaper boxes full (clothes I didn't like mostly or that were given to us as hand-me-downs from boys lol).

:dohh:

OH won't let me buy her any more clothes when we go out, he insists I buy myself clothes

hahahaha same with me Tasha! LeeAnne has soooooooooooooooooooooooo much its disgusting! OH gets mad at me because we go to the mall everyday (its just behind our house) and I buy her new stuff  He gets his income tax back this week and told me I am to use it ALL on me--WooHoo!

The thought of becoming a "slummy mummy" scares me so much that I'm quite alright spending money on myself after Andrew reminds me Elyse has plenty, lol.

I saw a Hello Kitty mouse (for a computer not the animal lol) at Claires, it has changeable plates too.. omggg.. I want. I don't need, but I want. $25 I think? Maybe $40..

LeeAnne just has 1-but if we had a pool she would have LOTS!! I think little girly bathing suits are adorable

I want to go to the states to go shopping so badly.

OH doesn't have a passport though :dohh:

Any other ID he can use ??

if you drive he can use his birth certificate until June I think (may want to check that though as I'm not 100% positive on the dates and the ID required)

Claire has tons of cute little bathing suits, but she won't be wearing them. They're cute, but offer 0 sun protection, so we have a full body bathing suit that's 100% UVA and UVB resistant. My parents have a pool so we'll be in there alot during the summer. ;)

June 1st is the official date that you require the passport.
BUT - they sometimes choose to give you lots of trouble if you don't have your passport... guess it depends on the person, and how their day is going! LOL.

We were going to go to the states with my in laws for a few days. they're camping in new york for 11 days around the long weekend in july - and we were gonna go down for 3 days and shop! But I don't have my passport, and Grady needs his I'm told as well. And I'm not spending $200 just to get passports in a rush when it isn't really a necessity at this point...

Arn't the new Ontario Drivers licences supposed to be okay in lieu of a passport? Otherwise why did they change them?

I don't keep up with this stuff, it's few and far between that we go to The States in the first place. :)

I want to go shopping sometime in June... Andrew also wants to go down for his 21st birthday in July... so he needs one LOL but I don't want to wait for his passport to come in to go shopping :hissy: !!!
