Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

It is totally a personal choice.
I was adult baptised and that's what I was raised with but DH's church does infant baptism with baptism confirmation when the child is older and understand the decision. Because we chose to attend DH's church I'm going with the infant baptism but I totally understand letting the child make the decision later as that's what I did.

I was baptized, but I am not sure if we will have jasmine baptiized. Id like her to be able to make her own choices about religion.

I was baptized but it was done when I was old enough to make the decision (early teens I think) :) Will let Hannah make her decision as well

What's everyone upto tonight? It's very quiet here.

I'm watching Saving Private Ryan. I've never seen it before, although I watched the opening scene like a million times and never sat through the rest for some reason. Maybe tonight?

Tom is watching saving private ryan... I cant sit through it anymore, its good, but boring... I may go upstairs and watch the holiday.

I'm sitting here bored.
Grady went to his Nana's for the night.. and I've cleaned the whole apartment.. tried catching up on here...
And now I'm sitting here bored! BAH!
Might go have a shower, and then head to bed. Gotta take advantage of sleeping when I want!!

I am suffering from heartburn :( I have not had it this bad since I was pregnant, so I am going to blame this on the pill! :S

We are just relaxing tonight! BJ is getting LeeAnne to bed-although she feel asleep right away...calm before the storm possibly?!?

I think we might rent He's Just Not That Into You..it's on the dish to rent, and is cheaper then blockbuster :dohh: Probably put a fire on too, its collllld here!!

We're watching The Holiday here too.

Talked to the priest. I had to register at the church and fill out a form for her to be baptized, I hope he will do it, seeing as her father & I are not married and not living together-- a little surprise for them when they look over our form! Butt.. I did see pictures of kids being baptized with JUST their mothers.. so I think it will be okay.

We have to go to a session the week before the baptism, which will be the 2nd weekend in September they say.

Now to hammer out my picks for godparents and arrange a party :dohh:

Ahh, that's another reason I don't want to do it. The whole godparent thing is too much for me. I have too many people that would be pissed off if they weren't. And that's both sides, even though half of Andrew's friends couldn't give 2 shits that he has a kid, they'd be pissed if he chose someone else.. So just to shut up his sister, her and her boyfriend are Grady's godparents... Not official though

Just a note for you girls, we were in Gymboree today (not a store I normally go into but had to exchange some things) and they had a good sale going. 30% off everything you can fit into a bag

I have no idea what this gymboree is!? Obviously something we don't have here in Yorkton lol
What a day..its so cold and rainy out..and LeeAnne is being a devil today..why she can't stay asleep when napping is beyond me :dohh:

Oh watcha baking? I love baking, lol lol so does everyone in my office, when I bring it. They even take up collections to buy supplies, I think that 's a hint, but you know men, they'll eat anything

haha, I know where you're coming from! I baked cheese biscuits and cranberry morning muffins.

When I was in college, I baked about 10 dozen cookies a week and sold them to my teachers :D

You guys were talkative while I was away! Sheesh, it's tough to keep up! Hope you're having a good Sunday! We are very thankful for the little bit of rain we got today.

it's a clothing store, a bit pricey for my tastes ($40 for one dress or $30 for a shirt plus another $40 for the matching pants I just can't do it)

But the sale I ran into was good. I got a bathing suit for Hannah, 2 tops, and 2 shorts for $44

for those of you with babies this might be a good place for a meet when your LO's get a bit older (since Hannah's by far the oldest )
