Claire won't mock us or laugh at us or anything like that, definitely not her personality. She IS starting to show her defiant side though, its super frustrating but I keep trying to remind myself that its a natural progression for them. She tries to hit us but it isn't like a full out smack if that makes sense? More like tapping. Either way I dislike it a lot and we're working with her to not do it anymore.

Currently her thing is (instead of hitting us) to stomp her feet. Its hilarious to watch

Doesn't mean I don't have my days where I want to lock myself in the bathroom though.

anyone have any fun weekend plans? We are spending most of the weekend at home We have tons of little things around the house that need to get done (cleaning, organizing the garage, bringing in the bbqs, cleaning out the garden, putting up the plastic wrap on the door downstairs). We'll see how much gets done

Tomorrow we're meeting the in-laws for lunch

We've got a Pampered Chef thing this afternoon, love that stuff! Its our photographer who's putting it on, and she's got two little ones as well so we're going to bring Claire and she can have fun while we cook.

Dinner date with friends after she goes down, then we're up to Huntsville tomorrow. Chapell Farms pumpkin patch on Monday and then rest on Tuesday.

Good morning!
Surprisingly good sleep last night. yay!
Rehearsals went well yesterday, so feeling pretty good about the Hallowe'en shows.
Now I have to focus on the xmas show script and getting that done for this week. Whew!
These gigs are close together.
But work at the Zoo usually dries right up by January, so I guess I need to take the hours where I can get them and be grateful for them!

Tiff - your weekend sounds nice. I like that it extends all the way through to Monday!
Vickie - I desperately need one of those weekends. My ILs are arriving on Friday and I feel like my house is a disaster.

Meant to say earlier - Sara - at your running! Way to go!

Ha ha it does Sarah! P's rotating schedule does have perks at times, means we get to go to the pumpkin patch during the week when its $6 per person to get in, rather than the $12 on a weekend.

I agree Sara, well done on your running!!!! Super proud of you!

Boring weekend here. Shawn isn't back until late tonight and I'm getting a cold and don't feel like doing anything. We'll go out if Andrew starts getting cabin fever though.

we went to the wedding show with my friend this morning. don't have much else planned. tim is working all weekend again. booooo!!!

This afternoon I'm driving to my parents to drop off P then coming back here and we're going out with friends tonight. Haunted Downtown walk at 7pm and then probably out for some appetizers. Then drive back to my parents, we're sleeping there tonight. Not sure about tomorrow.

Over my cold and back to work on course work! Lots of reading to do. It's DH's turn for house cleaning so I'm spending my day doing homework... well maybe 1/2 the day as we haven't actually done anything yet!

Stan just set the fire alarm off twice! I just put the kid down for a nap I will not be dealing with her overtired self if she won't settle after this!

Not much here OH is working on the truck this weekend as we are thinking about selling it to buy something a bit newer as long as we can get what we want out of it.
Last night we went to a get together for a bit at SIL's new house, tonight OH is working at the bar, and tomorrow we are having dinner at my mom's. It's been nice to have some family time the past couple days.

we just watched It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown with Hannah which was fun We decorated a gingerbread house earlier as well and she had a cupcake so she should be nice and wired for bed time

I havent done a gingerbread house in ages. I should do that for Christmas this year, but I'd prefer to make my own I think - the ones you buy taste horrid!

I don't eat gingerbread so it doesn't particularly bother me either way

We usually do end up just throwing most of the thing out. By the time Hannah's done with it (and licking her hands and shoving candy into her mouth) it's kinda gross
