OH just texted me. His work are getting rid of aload of people because theres no work, meaning he could lose his job. They have just had a staff meeting and sacked two people in the office.

i feel sick. There is noway on the earth we could get married if he loses his job, and so bloody close to xmas! even when theres no work around what so ever!

i cant stop crying im soo upset :'( everything is going wrong lately.

AND to top it off, OH was offered a well paid job with his mates, but 80 miles away near his fucktard family. Meaning il have to take my baby out of school, when she loves it and has loads of friends. i reallly realllly dont want to move.

Try and be positive, they have already let some go so it sounds like he is safe for now and at least there is a back up if not, ok not ideal, but nothing is. My husband has been offered a relocation deal, it's 550 miles away, it's really not the right time, but you weigh up your options and go with what feels right with what you know and feel.

Hope the job stays safe though x

As hard as it seems you will get through it, my husband got made redundant on Christmas Eve in 2009 when I was pregnant with William. Now I am pregnant again and he is going to be made redundant on 20th December (there seems to be something about pregnancy, Christmas and redundancy in this family!).

Anyway the first time it seems like such a disaster and I didn't know how we would possibly get through it but we did and we will again this time and so will you if the worst happens.

It might be a good idea now to look in to what benefits you would be able to claim if he is out of work and start making some draft budgets. Hopefully it wont come to it and his job will be safe but I wanted to let you know it isn't the end of the world and you will get through it as hard and as impossible it seems right now.
