got the silver cross ventura... nd probably gonna get the britax one that allows baby to lie down as i'll be doin lots of long journeys!!

Our is the Recaro young profi plus. It is very light to carry and has loads of great reviews

We had this one and will be using it again for this one. It was no.1 in 'Which' at the time for safety, but I don't know now. Great looking and with the isofix base very easy. The only downside is that it is slightly more upright than some others and when baby was very new her head did loll forward sometimes.

We've gone for the Britax babysafe SHR2; it clips onto our pushchair frame and looks comfortable, it also seems to recline the baby more than other car seats I have seen so he won't be bunched up in it, which was particularly important as my mum lives 3 hours away.
