Can any one recommend a stage 1 or combination seat car seat for around £80-£100???

Try Kiddicare hun, that's where I got mine. £130 I think, but there's cheaper x

thank you again i wasnt sure if jack should go forward yet x

we have the maxi cosi tobi honey, but i always think this is excellent value

there are so many out there im a little confused

tell me about it claire, i got really confused! i found the best thing too do was to go somewhere like mothercare and see what suits your car. my mum got one for maddi for her car from argos, it was about £50 i think, and you can just return it if it doesn't fit which is quite good x

Caitlyn isn't 20lb yet, but she holds herself like a 1 year old and the carseat is from birth x

thats very good toria, we have one from 9months or 20lb's to 40lb, maddi looks so much more comfy in it, that infant carrier was getting waaayyyy too heavy

i'm getting jack weighed tomorrow i'm not even sure he he is heavy enough yet although he has been sitting up unaided since 4 months i just wanna make sure he's safe x

We have a britax. Birth to 4 years one. Going to put caitlyn forward facing tomorrow. Cost us £110. Your best bet might be to go to mothercare and check them out and speak to an assistant xx

thank you every one!

Which is better for me to get a combination seat or just a forward facing x

we got the britax first class, it has two ways of fitting it so is more likely to fit in every car, its very padded and Chloe loves it

BTW I would recommend not going to mothercare-and I say that as someone that wad mothercares trained car seat specialist!

we went to toys r us and they were great
