Carrier help :(

I've got a connecta carrier...but just can't get it right. Everytime I put him on my back it KILLS, not seen anyone else have these kind of problems...so pretty sure its me not fitting it right, when he's in it he's sort of leaning back...and it doesn't look high enough, but the more I tighten it...the more painful he gets...him being big/me small wouldn't make any difference would it?!

Any idea how to fix it?!!

Sorry, didn't see this before, not that I'm very much help!

Where does it hurt? I haven't used our connecta much but I don't think we've had any problems like that when we did. When you're fastening the waist strap, are you doing it high enough up? If you're doing it round your hips rather than your waist it would be too low and would then be difficult to move up to the correct height.

He shouldn't be leaning back much at all. When you put it on, do you do lots of mad hopping around to get his bum well down into the body of the carrier?
