With the cartons of ready to drink formula, is it safe to make up all the botles for the day, and store them in a fridge? Or is it best to make them up as and when, and just store the carton that is open and being used in the fridge?

It is all so confusing, and I'm so worried I will get it wrong.

Hopefully i makes sense.... Ideally to start with I would like to buy one large carton that can be used completely in one day, and make up all the bottles in the morning.

Thanks for any replies in advance. :)

The cartons you can open and use as you need them, any leftover will keep in the fridge for 24 hours

i use the cartons all the time
i normally make up 12 hours worth at a time using the 500ml cartons as alex has about 4 ounces every 3 hours.

i dont like storing it in the carton itself once opened as i feel that more air can get into it so i put it in the bottles.

but it does say that the milk can be stored in the fridge for 24 hours actually on the carton.

Keep the formula in the cartons - no need to pour and fridge them! At milk time just tip the ounces LO takes into bottle and store the rest in the fridge. Can be stored for 24 hours tops ..*in carton*.

:D

You can leave it in the fridge for up to 24 hours, I pour it in to the bottles as I think its more sterile but its personal choice. Take care :hugs: XX

Oooh glad u asked was thinking about doing this when on holiday later this year :) x x
