Catholic church and IUI/IVF

yeah we done the billings method but didn't really see it as the catholic method but i have sooo many infertility problems even IUI or IVF we will still be really lucky to get anything out of it but we're still going to try, i have done the billings method for so long i could teach the bloody classes lol

Hi can I just say that I was brought up Catholic, went to a Catholic school, married in a Catholic church but I am no means a practising one. I am also waiting to go through IVF and to know that the Catholic church thinks this is a sin is appaling to be honest. At the end of the day it is up to God to decide if it works....after all what is created it an angel...a blessing in my eyes. Hope this does not stop you from doing IUI or IVF. xxx

nothing is more important to me other than my partner and my son than this treatment and the hope it will bring x

lynne, honestly look into Napro. If it comes down to it we will be doing ivf etc so I'm by no means judging on that count. But Napro gives as much support as possible to 'fix' any problems you may have. Its worth looking into just to see if it could help.

sadly without a whole womb/cervix/tube/ovary transplant new immune system and blood nothing sadly can be fixed for us. we've been alot of doctors and tried alot of things. sadly very little works or helps.

I am believe that you should follow your heart and do anything everything possible to conceive a child. I am also catholic and will soon be doing an IUI. Catholic or not I have a relationship with God and that is all that matters. No one should judge us or tell us what is a sin. Baby dust your way and to everyone else <3
