Hi all

I came off the pill last summer and cycles had been irregular, with longest cycle being 42 days. I had bloods done in January and all hormone levels were normal. Cycles were also becoming more regular, with previous 2 cycles around 31 days. Now however I'm at CD51 and have not yet ovulated. Is it worth a trip back to the GP for further investigation now? Have been using OPKs and have had several LH surges this cycle, but no temp rise. Had also taken HPT a couple of weeks ago just to check and it was neg.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'd suggest going to your GP for an opinion! It's tough to know when your cycle has been irregular, but getting blood tests would give you a clearer answer of what's going on! Are you going through a lot of stress in your life? Sometimes that can really affect your cycle/body.
Either way, the doctor may give you more insight, or at least suggest a direction to go in! Good luck!! :)

You've just got to wait it out
See below for my cycles following the pill!!!

You may ovulate or you may have an annovulatoty cycle. The Only thing they can do is give you drugs to make you ovulate but you need a FS referal for that which means going back at 12 months if your cycles don't settle. I feel your pain, trust me!!xx

Thanks ladies. Yeah, the bloods I had done in Jan were all fine. Think I will go back to the docs and ask for a referral. I'm going to be 34 in a couple of months so don't really have a lot of time to wait.

I'm not really stressed either. Busy, but happy.

Thanks for the advice. Best of luck to you both x

Yep waiting it out, or going to the doc and moving to to medicated cycles is about the only options. I have screwy cycles too so I know how you feel!
