CD1 anybody?! Looking for buddies :)

Hi hi! CD5 here! I've been trying to be very relaxed about this whole TTC thing but it's impossible. It's my every waking thought. My cycle lengths vary (irregularly irregular....grrr...) and so I'm not sure when I'll ovulate. We've tried a couple times, got disappointed and quit and are now trying again. I am thinking about trying the ovulation predictor tests this cycle. Has anyone had any experience with these? I just don't want to obsess about this anymore than I have to.....

Hi iv used a couple of types of opks and really like clearblue digital dual hormone ones, I found it quite difficult determining the lines of the non digital ones so this completely takes the guesse work out. Used them for two months first one not as good as getting used to them. (Much better to dip in urine than wee on) last month was able to pinpoint my ovulation really well so was quite gutted when af arrived a few days ago

I second the ClearBlue OPK. I used it for the 1st time last month, and it was great. Okay, no BFP, but the test was easy and I like digital happy faces much better than squinting to see lines. They're a bit pricey, but worth it to me. And that way, you get to say to DH - "It's a happy face day!" ...And then HE gets a happy face, because he knows what that means for him.

I second the ClearBlue OPK. I used it for the 1st time last month, and it was great. Okay, no BFP, but the test was easy and I like digital happy faces much better than squinting to see lines. Hahaha that is too cute. I use the ClearBlue Advanced Digital so it is supposed to get the 4 days but I got 2 days of O face and then a solid smiley for the next three days. I'm about to enter into the 2WW...

Ohhh, that 2WW is horrible...I have to slap pregnancy tests out of my hand the whole time. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

That's the same OPK I use. I got exactly what the box said should happen...2 flashing happy face days (high fertility) and then the solid happy face that stays for 48 hours (peak fertility). Since it felt like our timing was right, I was pretty disappointed that it didn't work once AF showed up, but I'm back into hopeful mode. This time I ordered some PreSeed lubricant. Since it mimics fertile CM and I know DH's motility is just a tad low, I'm hoping that extra boost will help. Hey, it can't hurt right?

I had exactly the same this month timed e everything to perfection and used preseed for the first time and thought was in with a chance this month. Horrible when af comes because don't know what else to do. Feel like I need to try something different or extra this cycle

I know exactly what you mean. It seems like when you feel like you did everything right and it still doesn't work, it's hard not to fear that something's wrong. It's a tad irrational, especially early in the process, but I can't help it. We're supposed to say, "Welp. It wasnt my month. Try try try again! " ...except um...I'm just not that optimistic unfortunately.

Good luck! Baby dust to you! Starting my ovulation sticks today on cd7 but empty face, usually get two of those before the flashing smiles so I'm a couple of days behind you. For some reason always feel so much better in this bit than in the 2ww! Feel like there is hope

hey girls, can I join too??

Im 28, OH is 27 and we ahve been ttc since August. We were very lucky to conceive right away in August but I sadly lost the baby end of september. After that, my cycles were all over the place and December was my first normal cycle and the first time I ovulated since the mc.

DosPinkines, I also thought we had timed everything right, had +ve OPKs, temp rise and we dtd more often than the first time I got pregnant so I was of course very disapointed to see AF.

So sorry to hear about your loss mimi, must have been devastating, can't imagine what that must be like. Hope your cycles are settling down again now, what cycle day are you on?

Got my flashing smiley tonight (high day) but got forced to cover a night shift because of sickness so no bd tonight which has ruined my plan of bding every day when got high and peak days already. Tried every other day last month and didn't work so wanted to try something different this time

I feel you on not being able to BD exactly when you want. My DH is a paramedic and works 24-hour shifts. 24 hours on and 48 hours off. And for some crazy reason, his company doesn't seem to support conjugal visits. Weird.

DosPinkies and Ladders, my OH also works different shifts so days, evenings, nights, etc. so it can be tough. Im trying the everyday in my peak method too, that should start friday on cd13 until cd17.

Ok so i o today (weds) and managed to bd sunday monday Tuesday and today, can't tomorrow as dh has to provide a sperm sample Friday so needs to abstain for two days. Hoping that's enough and hoping also for better results on the sample so means could be in with a chance this month.

I think your bases are totally covered this month, Ill be doing the same thing as you, bd this saturday, sunday, monday and tuesday and Im supposed to O tuesday. hoping you caught that egg!

First month we bd'd everyday around o so have hopes for this month just need good sperm results and will be happy in with a chance.

Good weekend of bd'ing then mimi hope you catch the pesky egg too! Do you use opks or chart? Just interested because I rely heavily on opk and if no bfp this month need the next trick under my sleeve ready!

CD1 for me too and I would love to have buddies . I was 6 days late for my AF so I am feeling a little down right now, AF symptoms don't help if course! Hubby and I are TTC with baby #1, my cycle is now about 32 to 35 days ( I swear it just keeps getting longer). I am 29 years old going on 30 and hedge been TTC for about 8 months or so. Other women have told me to sign up for Fertility Friend which I just did today, has anyone on here used it? GL and baby dust to all!!

Hey ladies! Hoping I can join even though i'm a tad late. I think I'm on or about the same CD as you all. Right now CD10-CD12 depending on how long my period decides to be this month. Third cycle trying and it's ranged from 28-29-30...grr! (not in that order)

According to FF I should O on Monday, this is my first month temping and everything seems normal thus far.

I had lotion like/creamy cm yesterday and the day before. It was a little stretchy, broke apart after 1/2 inch (maybe not even that much) and today it seems I have wet cm. I'm TERRIBLE at this cm stuff. WE BD'd last night, and will hopefully BD every day this weekend...hoping that's enough and that I do, in fact, O this month!!

Oh - and I just turned 32 and OH just turned 38...TTC #1 and feel so late in the game that it's IMPOSSIBLE for me to be relaxed about this!
