leylac-- I hope you didn't think I was being rude, or insensitive. My intentions were quite the opposite. I think we have all felt as you do. I, too, constantly compare myself to others. I work in a bookstore, so, I cringe every time, which is often, that someone buys What to Expect, etc. I think we all get a little obsessed with this process.

Well we're entering day 8 of our cycle.. Keeping my sights on any signs of the big O.. LOL...
Husband is away so I ate my last easter bunny while watching docs on TV about the royal wedding this Friday. (Im SUCH a sucker for a prince and a princess.. )
Trying to keep my positive energy up.. Will be leaving for vacation in 2 weeks and can't help but think about how we may discover we're prenant while on holiday. That just seems a little too nicely packaged though so I doubt we'll get that lucky.. But a girl can dream. At least it'll get our minds of this stuff for a while at least.
Hope you ladies are doing well and hopefully some if not all of us get our BFP this cycle.

aquaria, no I did not think you were insensitive at all. We all understand each other and we all have ups and downs. Yesterday was a very difficult day for me, but today I think I am fine. I am trying to get the thought that "I should have been pg by now" out of my head.

Hi ladies. It's a quiet rainy day here in Switzerland and hubby is going away on buisness for a couple of days. I'm feeling sleepy and stupid (which I suppose is better than obsessing). I ordered some OPKs from Amazon back on the 22nd...with a delivery estimate of 29 April-7 May might be a little late for this cycle so I hope I never need them

I hope you're all having more "ups" than "downs" today.

Hey girls, I think I'm on CD10 today and doing pretty good. DH and I have been BD'ing for 'fun' since I waved goodbye to AF at the weekend which has been very nice. I'm not OV'ing for ages so will not even make it a chore until I feel my OV pains or get a positive OV stick. Seriously, life's too short!!!! Last month we did it every other day throughout my cycle and it didn't get us anywhere so we're trying the more laid back approach. Not even going to prop my hips up this month either!!! I guess my rationing is that I want a very strong swimmer to get through and if I make it too easy for them, a weak one might get through and result in a non-implantation or MC. Sounds weird, I know but I'm trying to relax a bit.

Sooo...I went shopping today and with every thing I tried on, did the "can I wear this when I'm pregnant?" test... you know, pushing the garment out with my hands forming a bowling ball It's not exactly keeping my mind off things, but it was fun ;-)

Just thought I'd bump this and see how everyone is doing. I'm cd11 so starting my fertile week. Feeling positive but still can't decide if we should be dtd every day or every other day. What's your opinions?

CD 11 and DH is away for the most fertile week I am hoping to meet him on CD15. I don't ovulate before CD16 but I am taking some supplements so I am not sure.

clarey, I could arrange some surprise trip for DH but a BFN at the end of the month would be much harder to take. Or... The fridge I am staring at inspires me... At what temperature can I keep semen alive for 3 days?

UGH... my temps have been a little weird this month and after taking my temp this morning I'm wondering if maybe I ovulated yesterday... I had a drop yesterday and then a spike today. and to make matters worse, we haven't really tried much in the past couple of days aside from Saturday morning.. sorry for TMI. I've been tracking ovulation for day 17 and I'm only on day 12 right now. I really hope I haven't missed it because I haven't had any other signs.. grrrrrrrrrr I'll see how my temps are in the next few days.. But I told the OH to be ready for a busy week.. LOL..

claudia_ann, I think even if you ov'd, the Saturday BD should cover it. The temo drop could just have been a fluke though, it happens.

Clarey and Leylak, you crack me up!!! Have you ever heard of anyone doing that? I was going to google "freezing sperm" at one point when I thought DH was going to be away for the fertile week, but never did because luckily for us he was able to change his schedule.

Hi all don't want to crash, but i'm on cd13 and noticed that we're all in similar places in our cycles I'm 20 and me and OH are trying to baby #1 too. We're on cycle 5 now, which is fustrating! Had pains yesterday and some today so pretty sure im ovulating soon xxxxxx

no signs of ovulation yet. No ewcm-I should have got plenty of it by now. I will be getting together with my husband tomorrow. I hope I do o this month.

I'm hoping OV happens over the next few days! I usually don't get EWCM just lots of juice (TMI)!!!!! But I do get OV pains.

I get OV pains too, and I thought I felt something this morning but it was just wishful thinking perhaps. I finally got my OPTs today and did my first one this afternoon. It was neg, so I'm hoping for tomorrow or Friday. We have a busy weekend ahead at the in-laws, and I'm not looking forward to sneaking a cup into their single lou and waiting 5 minutes for a result without anyone noticing

POAS today but negative (darker than the last two days though) so maybe the next few days it will get darker and I'll start getting pains. OH back late tonight after business trip (1 night away) and off again for 1 night tomorrow so might pounce on him when he gets in!!!! He's away next Wed until Sunday too so fingers crossed I don't OV late this month as I have done in the past!!!! or I'm screwed!!!!!

Sorry claudia_ann, I know nothing about temping, but I hope it was a fluke and you catch your eggy in a few days!

I love the freezing sperm idea! You guys will have to keep us updated if you try it! Anyone trying something new this cycle? We were going to buy this organiv fertility friendly lubricant called Yes! Baby, but didn't have the $$ Oh, well, maybe we won't need it. Last cycle we dtd every other day from the end of AF through my fertile period, but obviously it didn't make a difference. This month has been more relaxed in the dtd department, aside from a minor meltdown ( I cried, it was ridiculous, but I'm over it, for now). Heading towards my O probably on Monday, so I am hoping for a relaxing weekend of fun. Though I am hosting a graduation party for a friend, so hopefully I can keep it stress free. I've been having those lovely little twinges for a few days now, so, I'm hoping I haven't Oed early, but, all I can do is all I can do. I am also entering my last semester of school which includes a Statistics class. Blech. I am horrible at math, so, it has been causing some stress.
