CD2 Anyone

Stress can definitely mess things up! It's such a frustrating cycle; stress can delay O, which in turn is quite stressful! Good luck, Khigg, that things will straighten out for you soon!

jj, how are you? Any signs of AF? I sure hope she will stay away!! :hugs:

I don't know, bubbles. I tested again today and it was negative. I did some research and I guess it's common to have 1 or 2 anovulatory cycles per year.. I think it's only concerning if you don't ovulate for 3 months in a row.. With that being said, I'm hoping she arrives between now and aug 27th (that would be when my next period would be due had I started on time). I guess I could google what supplements can help bring on my period, but I don't know if I'm ready for chemical intervention.. I guess I just wait and see?! Were you due this past Monday or next Monday? How are you feeling?

How are you doin Karen? Anything new?

Well, no luck 1 day late, but got it today. I really didn't feel hopeful this cycle, but as the days wore on I psyched myself into believing. That made it worse. I just don't understand what is wrong. Never seeing a positive. DTD at all the right times, no caffeine, no dairy, all supplements, eating healthy, exercising. There has to be something wrong. ARGH!
Karen, how did that appt go? Tell me all the details!
Khigg, any news on the house?
And where are the other girls:shrug:

Aww, jj, I'm sorry that AF came. :hugs: It's so difficult and frustrating. :(

And Khigg, I'm sorry about the BFN. What CD are you now? Maybe O is just really delayed. The first cycle we started TTC, I didn't end up ovulating until CD39, due to the stress and excitement of starting the journey, I think. Maybe it will still happen for you this cycle. Best wishes either way!

I will definitely let you know how the appointment goes, thank you! It's today at 4. I am literally counting down the hours. (7.5, lol)

Hi all! I am still here. Sorry I've been playing more of a stalker role these last couple of weeks. I've been keeping up to date but haven't had the chance to type up anything meaningful.

Bubbles, sorry that AF came to visit again. Trust me I know the frustration of doing everything right with no results. I never saw a positive test until the 12th month of trying and I think that was result of the dye test I had clearing an undetectable blockage. People say it will happen when it's meant to happen and relax and I swore about 5 months in that I would never EVER say that to some one. Just made me want to slap people. (I am short, not a fast runner, and probably would lose in any fight so I refrained from doing so) There isn't much anyone could say to me that would make me less frustrated.

Khigg, I've never experienced an anovulatory cycle and have no idea, but can imagine, the frustration you are dealing with right now. Not knowing if and when you have or will ovulate or when AF will show up would drive me insane.

Well gosh ladies I bet you are glad I stopped by to offer absolutely no insight or anything of substance today! HA!

Karen, I am so excited you have your appointment today!!! Will you have an ultrasound done at this visit or just listening to the heartbeat? Can't wait to hear all about it :happydance:

The ultrasound went great!!! They found a very strong heartbeat of 170 beats per minute, and based on the measurements, they confirmed the due date of March 25! I am so happy and relieved. It was definitely one of the most memorable experiences of my life!!!

:hugs: and best wishes to everyone!

Oh Karen, I am so happy :)
That mustve been the most exciting, heart warming time. I cant wait to be in your shoes. Khigg, thats good news to move onto the next cycle.Hows kitty? and nomorewaiting, glad youre doing well. I just wish I could know if this is all worth it. If I knew it would never happen I could prepare for other things. Just another one of life's mysteries.
AFM we got a historic amount of rain in 24 hours. 13 inches, and 5 being in 1 hour. All of our towns flooded worse than Hurricane Sandy 2 years ago. My entire basement flooded for the first time in 8 years of living here. Water started pouring in through the seams of our tiles and we wetvaced for 14 hours to try and keep it under control. After 5 hours of sleeping we had another inch in the entire basement. (500 square feet) So this anniversary weekend has now changed to disposing of wet furniture, carpets, cabinets, bookcases, and removing baseboards and moldings to clean to prevent mold. Does this count for relaxing??? Any plans for you ladies?

It always sucks when AF comes, but I hope this will be the start of a more regular cycle for you, Khigg!

So sorry about the flooding, jj! That really stinks. :( We also got that crazy rain on Monday/Tuesday but didn't get it quite as bad as in Detroit. Apparently some cars were stuck on hugely flooded roads for days! I can't even imagine. :( I hope things will be resolved quickly for you! That stinks that you have to spend your anniversary doing that stuff, though, but Happy Anniversary nonetheless! I hope you can find some time to do something special. :)

Tonight we are going to a special Mass and concert to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption, and tomorrow we are going to visit some of my husband's relatives, who we only see a couple times a year because they live out in the county. And Sunday my uncle is having a family bbq. It will be busy, but fun.

Happy weekend, everyone!

Hi guys. How did the weekend turn out?

Khigg congrats on finally being able to move to a new cycle. This is one of those instances (there are many in this process) where it is a good thing to be able to move on and yet frustrating all the same.

Bubbles, I am sorry to hear about the flooding. I can't even imagine. I hope the clean up wasn't too terrible!

Karen, that is awesome that you got to see your peanut and everything is going so well! Congrats! My ultrasound and first appointment is on Friday. Can't wait!

My weekend was filled with a lot of nothing. I may have officially reached the feeling like crap stage and spent a lot of the weekend on the couch. I did get a couple things done around the house and took a 2.5 mile walk on Saturday. I was up for a couple hour last night with nausea and am struggling at work. Blah but yay all at the same time.... how strange.

Hope you ladies have a good Monday!

Decided to join in...30, been with DH for almost 8 years, married as of Feb of this year and this will be our 7th cycle ttc #1! CD2...hoping this will be lucky 7!!!

Welcome to the thread, cdelmar! I hope this cycle will be the one for you!

Hello, cdelmar! I am on cycle 8 and hoping this thread continues to be lucky for us both :) Are you taking any supplements, doing anything specific?
How are you feeling Karen? Did you guys start thinking about names?
Khigg, hope the house is going well.
Nomorewaiting, love those weekends of nothing :) need more. Feeling better this week? Names for you?
Afm, my water stopped coming in on sunday afternoon. We had the insurance assess and they told us basically we're not covered go to fema.So most likely getting nothing. Postponed the anniversary (can you do that??) until things settle down. Started primrose this cycle and contemplating vitex. Scared of the possibility of messing up my regular cycle though...

Sorry about them not wanting to give you coverage, jj. :( I hope it will work out for you in some way! Good luck as well with the primrose, and the vitex if you use it! I can't say I know anything about it, but I hope they will be successful for you!

I have been feeling a little better in the mornings, but seem to feeling yuckier after dinner. It's not a bad trade-off, though; I'd rather feel lousy at the end of the day than at the outset.

As for names, we have contemplated several, and have narrowed it down to a few of each gender:

Girls:
Lucy
Lily
Rachel

Boys:
Zachary
Christian
Max
Luke/Lucas

Personally I like Lily and Zachary the best, but we want to come to a mutual decision, so we'll see. Once we know the gender then I think we'll decide for sure!

I love Lily. One of my girl names is Lilliana for my grandmother.Although if I had a girl her name would most likely be Noelle or Scarlett :)

well, this will be my first full cycle temping, i just bought wondfo's to use this cycle (was using CB opks, still have 10 left), and I bought preseed to use once AF is out of here lol and taking 2000mg of evening primrose oil starting yesterday. So we shall see!

Just remember to stop primrose after you ovulate
I also use pre seed and conceive plus alternatively. Temping doesnt work for me.good luck.

As of this morning Im noticing epo is already making a difference with cm, hopefully it will be same for ewcm during O time!
Tested with Wondfo first time yesterday and I had a faint line (CB opks would always give me a smiley on CD 11) so we'll see when it actually happens and if it matches up with temping chart

And yes, Bubbles I did read about that, I will def stop once I O! :winkwink:

Im guessing Im gearing up to O this weekend. Have been eating well and still gained 2 pounds which is my normal. Should be a little tricky since we'll be with family for Labor Day. Hows everyone else? Any good Labor Day plans?

Good luck with the O, jj! :)

I am excited to have a little time off around Labour Day! I will be off from August 29 through September 3, to give us (and the kids) time to transition from our summer schedule to our busier school year schedule. This weekend coming is my husband's birthday, and we have a few days' worth of celebrations planned. Saturday is his birthday, so I am going to make him a special breakfast, and then later, we are going to the casino for dinner, gambling, and a chance to win $100,000 in a draw they are doing! Sunday, we are having dinner with my family. On Labour Day, we will both be off, so I will cook a special dinner, and we'll probably do something fun like shopping or mini golfing. And on Tuesday, we are planning on going to Buca Di Beppo in Michigan with my best friend and her boyfriend to celebrate my DH's birthday (the 30th), my friend's birthday (the 31st), and my birthday (Sept. 16th).

Can't wait! Just need to get through the next few days!
