CD2 Anyone

Fx for you, Khigg and nomorewaiting!!! Can't wait to see some beautiful BFPs around here!!!

JJ, when do you think you will be testing?

As for me, I am super happy because AF has left the building, so we can officially begin to ttc again! We are feeling pretty optimistic and very excited. We know that what happened to us happened for a reason, and while we haven't discerned just yet what that reason is, we are hopeful that we will have our blessing before long! :happydance:

Happy Weekend indeed!! What's everyone up to?

Today, we are stopping by my cousin's pool party, then going to a fiesta dinner at my husband's church, and finally going to see my dad's band play at a bar (he is the "Paul" of a Beatles tribute band). Tomorrow we're going to a barbecue at my parents'.

Wow, busy lady :) Positive thoughts only for you this cycle.
I had a killer day at work, came home bbqed and took my dogs to the park. Now watching a movie and tomorrow going out for Breakfast and looking at my husbands new job. Then finishing with some slow cooked ribs, YUMMO.
I would not test until 1 week after I am due. So 7/17. No earlier. I am tired of negatives:)
Did try Conceive Plus last night. Much looser than pre seed.

I hear ya, jjbubbles. I haven't decided when I will test. If I get another BFP, I think I'm going to spare my husband of the first trimester worries and wait until I've had my first appt. I knew chemical pregnancies were common, but honestly never thought I would have one.

I think about not telling my husband too, but know he would realize bc at least once a week we have dinner plans or I have a glass (or two) of wine. So as soon as he didn't see that the light bulb would go off. But I know how attached he gets to everything living ( our baby squirrel, our fish, etc) so I almost want to spare him the worry. we'll see , let me work on the positive first :)

CD 1, sigh. Here we go again. Atleast I didn't waste tests this time :)

Aww, sorry Fellowes! Hopefully this cycle will bring you that BFP!!!

My husband likes to be right there with me when we read the test results, but it will be fun to surprise our families, whenever it happens.

I've been back and forth about whether I would test early again or not. At first I thought I wouldn't, because it would be too painful should the same thing happen again, but lately I've been thinking I would rather know than not know. Hopefully, though, things will go better the next time around and it won't be an issue! Let's hope that is the case for all of us!!

JJ, we will likely be testing around the same time, then! Exciting!

Happy Sunday, everyone! :hugs:

Sorry that the witch came again, Fellows, but happy thoughts for this new cycle! Fx we will see some BFPs here.

Happy Monday everyone.

As far as testing goes, every cycle I say I'm not going to test at all and a few of the last 10 I actually didn't. There have been some that I get caught up in reading too much into things and end up testing early. So I think I will try to hold out but if I feel the need to give in I may take a trip to the Dollar Store. It's pretty hard to think that I really would get a bfp this month. I know I should think positive but I tried that avenue before only to be crushed.

On the coffee subject, I had cut down to 1 cup a day about 10 months ago and this past week have almost cut it out completely. I've had a couple decaf cups but other than that no :coffee: ... Why not give something else a try right?

Hope everyone had a great weekend! My husband finished up some Army training and we spent the day at home relaxing on Sunday for the first time in weeks!

How did the dinners with the bosses go ladies???

nomorewaiting, you have great willpower to be able to avoid testing altogether! I don't think I could do that. I hear you about not wanting to get hopes up too high, though. I always tell myself not to get my hopes up too high for things also (although that never works for me, haha).

The dinner at the boss's went well! Thank you for asking. Everyone was really nice. The residents who were finishing their run did a roast of the preceptors, one of whom was my husband, so that was pretty funny!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Nomorewaiting, I'm with you! When we first started ttc, I tested the waters with being a POAS addict, and it just wasn't for me. I don't test unless I'm late.

Are you doing ok, fellowes? I'm not sure how I'll feel when AF shows. I say when because I don't see myself getting lucky enough to get 2 BFPs in a row.

Don't say that Khiggs! You absolutely can get two BFPs in a row!

I'm fine... Just frustrated! I'm trying the sperm meets egg plan next month. We will see how that goes!

What were you doing before fellowes? I ovulate on CD 17, so we were told to take a break the week after AF and dtd on cd12, 15, and 17. So we dtd on CD 5, 7, 9, 12, 15, & 17. It's so tricky though because different things work for different people..

Now I'm just waiting :P and so over it, but I know that it will happen eventually.

Probably 6 .. I don't chart, temp, or OPK.. But O cramps are usually cd14-17.. A 12 day LP is on the shorter side, but not too short, right?

Khigg, i definitely heard of people getting 2 pos tests. I thin it is even common :)
That lp is fine. I was worried bc I had an 11, but I spoke to alot of girls and said it was just fine.

Sorry fellowes :(
This has been a killer week and its only Tuesday???
Any big plans coming up? I am having some friends over for dinner and the beach this weekend. Looking forward to going away next week for the 4th. Deciding on adding maca to my cocktail. anyone else?

Bubbles, I found prachipie to update her on my cp. She was having bleeding this week (at 14wks) so they were trying to find the source today. They did a detailed US and everything looked good and it is a boy just like she was saying from day one.

Oh thats so wonderful! She knew it was a boy! Tell her I said HI! How is your sister doing? and your brothers wife?

Ooh, jj, where are you going for the holiday?

Good luck to you, Khigg! And I agree, I think a 12-day LP sounds fine!

I had a temperature spike this morning, but I can't imagine that I O'ed on CD9, when I have an average of about CD16-17 for O, and have never O'ed earlier than CD14. I haven't had fertile cm yet, either, and I usually have it for several days first. The only possible sign I've had is a mittelschmertz-like feeling, but sometimes I get that early. I'm hoping it was just a fluke based on a warm house temperature, because I am thinking this would be too early to have a good lining... I guess I'll just have to wait and see what the thermometer says tomorrow!

Today is my last day of work before our little break! :happydance: I have 3 students tonight, and then our staff party, which is always a good time. Karaoke may or may not ensue. ;)

We cant really go on vacation because I have 2 elderly dogs. SO unless someone can house dog sit, we don't go or they come with us. So we are headed to my mil's house in the Hamptons for 5 days. we don't do much there. Just relax, sit on the beach, read, cook, etc. So it should be nice. Hope your last days are nice. Kill it at karaoke! Sometimes I wish I worked in education!

Karaoke is my worse nightmare, lol. Have fun!!!
Khigg... Wow that is scary about prachipie! Glad to hear things are okay. I will be thinking about her!
Jjbubbles - what kind of dogs do you have??
I'm headed to cape cod next week for almost 2 weeks. So excited to have time off of work!
