Hi ladies! I've not been on here in a while as it's been as while since I started ttc and I decided to stop thinking about it as much.

I didn't temp much this month. I took a few temps in the first half of my cycle which were normal for me for pre - ovulation. I then took a few temps in the middle of my luteal phase which again, were normal luteal phase temps for me. I've been temping for over a year so I have a very good idea of what is normal for me, so I most likely ovulated on CD13, if not it would be CD14.

I decided to take more temps this cycle so when 'af' started at the weekend I decided to temp each day onwards. So far I have had temps which I usually get during my luteal phase. To give you an idea, pre ovulation my temps are usually between 36.1 - 36.25 c. In my luteal phase they are usually between 36.45 - 36.7 c. My last few temps have been over 36.7 c.

My thermometer seems to be working ok so I don't think it's that. I did notice my af was lighter this time and wasn't as bright red. I have had a cold for 6 days, but my temp doesn't usually change that much usually when I have a cold. This morning I've woke up feeling a bit better and I don't feel as hot as I did the last couple of mornings and my temp is still above 36.7c.

I haven't tested as I feel like there must be a reason for this. I wonder if it is due to the cold I've got, but as I said it doesn't usually alter my temps by much. Even my temps when I had gastroenteritis last year, weren't as high as this. I guess I'll continue with my temps the next few mornings and see what happens.

Anyone have any similar experiences?

Ok so just an update. My temp has dropped this morning even though I still feel unwell. Hopefully this is a sign I'm starting to feel better. It looks like my cold has affected my bbt this time, even though colds haven't affected it in the past. Perhaps my weird af was also something to do with being ill at the same time. Onto this cycle!
