Cervix texture

I have a couple of question which I hope you guys can answer.

First of all, sometimes, my cervix kind of disappears - so I chart this as 'soft'. However, I can still feel the opening (os) as like a small hard nodule.

In comparison, when I chart my cervix as 'hard' or 'medium', it feels like the tip of my nose, I can feel the whole thing and I can push it around.

Is it normal to still feel the os when soft? Or is my cervix not truly soft?

Second question. I don't know whether this is my mind playing tricks on me, but I can check my cervix and it will be medium/hard, I can then check it 12 hours later and it will be soft! Is this possible? Does anyone else experience this or am I imagining it?

Cervical positions change through out the day so its always best to check at the same time every day. I can feel my os despite having a soft cervix so dont worry, your not alone
