Change of ownership of a thread

I have contacted someone on the admin team but I would like to change the owner of a thread please?

If someone would be so kind to contact me and let me know how I can do this it would be great

Please PM me the info. I do need to have permission of the owner of the thread to do it. In the PM please provide a link to the thread and who is taking it over.

What if the current owner of the thread has abandoned the thread?
