Cheers to BFPs in 2-0-1-6!

I wouldn't risk painting Angel either. Happy second tri! Sorry you're not feeling well. I don't know how pain affects baby but I know Tylenol is supposed to be ok.

Thanks. :)

So I'm having a really hard time eating. I have absolutely no appetite. In order to get some fruits / veggies back into my system I decided to start juicing. I used to juice (not blender, just the actual juice), but haven't in awhile. Made a juice today with apple/carrot/celery. Actually pretty good! And feeling a little better. But I am still fighing a nasty headache and some nausea today, probably a result of the headache. :(

abe i dont think you have to worry for PCOS. the big factor is you are getting a period every cycle. when i asked my doc does having larger ovaries put me as PCOS and the first thing he asked is if i get a regular period which i do. some ladies cycles are longer than others. and even with your long cycles, you are about the same for every month. if you were having short and long cycles all the time then i would suggest getting checked for PCOS. i have generally always been aroud a 28 day cycle so thats normal for me. your may be closer to a 40 day.
we all are different. its normal.
i love how you booked the rooms for baby 1 and 2. i would have just kept one a nursery and made the other a childs room and when baby 1 is big enough, moved him/her to other room and had this one for baby 2.

angel...its so weird that everyone dates second trimester different. isnt it nice to have your sis as your bump buddy? when is she due? also each pregnancy is different so maybe check with your GP or OB and see what they recommend for your headaches. i hope you dont have to go another 3 months with that on and off headache. i had headaches before and it went on for about 6 months. (stress relates) iwas put on an antidepressant.

sending you baby dust ABE

Oh, I know I don't have PCOS, Whimsy. According to my RE I've got a strong O every month. It just sometimes takes a while. I'll be happy when I'm back down to 28 days though. I do miss it.

Whimsical - t is very weird that everyone dates second trimester different. Some say 12 weeks. Some say 13w+3, and some say 14w. Very odd. My sister isn't actually pregnant right now. She already has a kid and is TTC#2 right now (which will be #5 for her hubby! :O ). She has PCOS and her prior doctor wouldn't let her get tested or even give her meds, even though she wasn't ovulating and hadn't had a period in months and months. They made her wait a full year, so stupid. Her specialist has her on meds, and she's on round 3 this cycle of whatever med they are giving her to make her O. I figure if my headaches continue I'll message my doctor on the online portal and see what they recommend.

Abe -I bet. That was the one thing I missed about stopping BCP was the regularity of it all!

angel that so horrible for your sister. glad she has a better specialist now. maybe you can get to be bump buddies in the future. now im not too sure which i would classify as the "real" date. medically you are 12 weeks but really only pregnant for 10.... its a bit confusing but i think i would go with the medical date and not the date of conception.... but really i dont know. confusing really.

i too miss BC. everything was so straight forward. you got your period on that day and it lasted that long and that was it.

Happy second trimester Angel! I hope the migraines go away, that can't be fun :(

Abe, the nursery looks good!

I'm switching over our study and spare bedroom this weekend, and the old study will now be future nursery, so I'll hopefully get to painting that before I get my bfp. So hopefully within this month ;)

The relaxed approach is going well for me. I can say that as I'm no where near ovulation, I'm hoping I wont be second guessing my timing around then! I did have some wierd spotting 2 days after my AF ended, but we BD the night before so I wonder if that was why.

Still strange though as I never spot mid cycle.

So happy its Friday here! Long dreary rainy week here, lots more rain due this weekend but I get to see my nephews so that will make up for it :)

You girls got much on?

maybe the relaxed approach is just what you need Sheece

nothing much happening this weekend for me. may just stay at home and get extra sleep. i am not feeling too good so maybe a relaxed weekend should do me some good.

I have reflexology tomorrow. That's it. Probably a good job as I'm really nauseous

Not too much, testing tomorrow (10DPO). AF should be here by Monday if I don't get a BFP. Not all too hopeful at this point, testing just for the sake of testing. We're doing Sunday dinner at our place this weekend, and watching my niece and nephew on Saturday, so it's pretty much going to be clean, clean, clean all weekend. My BIL and his wife and their two are coming over tonight. We haven't seen them in a couple of weeks because they've been at our family's cabin.

Also been getting obsessed with Pokemon Go. It's been a nice to get a little distracted from TTC.

I don't have much, tutoring today and going to try to hit the gym (feeling frustrated, and thinking exercise and endorphins will help). DH has to go down to our inherited property this weekend. Now that we were able to legally evict his drug-addicted uncle (who broke into the house 4-5 months ago and the judge decided she wanted us to give him a proper 60 day notice because he had lived there once before jail....so he deserved a full notice to move :dohh: and btw a 60 day notice with an eviction takes almost 3 months to fully execute) is out of hte house he is going to board over all the windows inside and out because he's threatened to destroy the house. Plus put some padlocks on doors, etc. We want to make sure no one is getting in or out of that house, and thne he's going to try to get in touch with some people who had wanted to buy it. It's in bad shape, but we'll sell it real cheap as a fixer-upper just to get it off our hands.

It's a bit of a drive so I Chose to stay home, even though that's the town where both our parents live but my mom's house is full this weekend with my sister and her husband there and possibly other relatives and i want some quiet. Will be nice to just get some alone time with me and the dogs for a few days. :)

Abe - I haven't really gotten into Pokemon Go but DH plays and my niece LOVES it so whenever we are watching her DH will take her out pokemon hunting. She has a blast.

We're landlords Angel and it's a nightmare. Not quite on the scale you're dealing with but I feel your pain. Fx for testing abe! Not Pokemon, noooo 😱 I just don't get it!

So I'm not getting excited about it, because I'm so drained from getting my hopes up and then having them crash down, but I thought out of curiosity I would compare this cycle to the cycle I had my CP and my temps are almost an exact match for temp pattern.

Still totally expecting a BFN tomorrow though, just thought it was cool!

Broody - Yeah, we considered finishing fixing up the place and renting it out but I decided that I can't handle this crazy stuff!

Abe - FX! That' cool how similar your temps are! I don't think I've ever had a cycle where my temps were that similar.

abe the cycles are so similar in pattern. thats a first i ever saw that. not to be a downer but if we go by chart then i think it will be a BFN too. though i am sending you baby dust in the wish and hope it is not so.

angel, it would have been so lovely if you could have fixed the home and rented it and maybe some years down the line, moved there. it would have been closer to family too. sorry that you had to have such a nighmare with family nonsense. glad that is over.

pokemon no no. im all for great games but all the stories i keep hearing about people endangering themselves are a bit too much for me.

Temps aren't everything though abe. Yours are still above cover line so you're def not out yet. Looking forward to seeing your tests!

Whimsical - oh we would have maybe rented it but we never wanted to move there. We both grew up in that town and neither of us are remotely interested in moving back. It's a very small town, with very little job opportunities. We purposely chose to move to this town when we left Texas so that we would be close enough to visit but far enough away that our parents couldn't just show up. They can both be very needy. :haha:

oh angel you dont have to tell me about needy people. i live around 2mins from in laws and bro in law family and i really wish everyday for DH to get a job far away from here.

if you never would go stay there it is better to just sell and let it be the worries of someonelse.

BFN yesterday (no surprise), the only solace is knowing that the cheapies I have are 20miu, so chances are a BFN would be expected at 10DPO. Fully expecting AF on Monday. I'll be submitting a list of medications for IVF to my insurance company once we know just what they're planning on using. Hopefully this will cut about $3000 off of our IVF costs.

Whimsical - exactly! Glad to know I'm not the only one who feels that way. :)

Abe - Hopefully that will cut down the cost! Although I'm really hoping you get your bfp instead. At 10-11DPO it's possible you haven't even implanted yet. :) FX
