Cheers to BFPs in 2-0-1-6!

Im back from my weekend away, and on Sunday I got ewcm so everything is crossed that I'm ovulating! Feels wierd to not temp and confirm it haha

My other half said he has noticed im more relaxed this month, so this whole approach is working, as I didnt really realise I had been stressed before!

Hi Erin :) I'm totally a HP fan too! Hope thats a good omen for you and AF stays away :D

I would mark that kinda CM as creamy yeah. I tend to put a note in too and say its more watery though heh.

Hi all! I haven't been getting my notifications from BnB so I haven't been checking in. My mom's in town and we are painting and doing the nursery. The room was originally a dark color, something like a bluish purple. Very pretty but dark. We hadn't painted since we bought the house. Anyway, we have the bottom 2 feet green, with grass blades painted in and the top part yellow (think Safari sunny day). We are adding some "grass touches" today and then we have some decal stickers to put up. :) I'm excited it's getting done. I'll put up some pics later. :)

Erin - Welcome! :) How'd the TWW going? I would say that CM sounds like creamy. It's always a good sign to have lots of extra CM. I didn't have that during my bfp cycle until way after my bfp, I actually dried up like normal, but others have said they get large amounts of CM before. Good luck! Keep us updated.

Sheece - I'm glad the relaxed approach is working for you! :) That's great!

Angel - pics please! So envious of people who have space for nurseries. Also, how is everything going?

Erin - I definitely had creamy CM leading up to my BFPs, if yours can be classed as creamy (so hard to tell!). But I could never, ever discern anything anything meaningful from my CP, so I'm not much help there. If anything, it hardly ever corresponded with what was expected at any particular stage of O. FX for you!

Sheece - good work on the relaxed approach. So much less stressful, I bet!

Jezika - I'll get pics up hopefully today or tomorrow. :) In order to make room for a nursery we had to move our office into our bedroom. We have a 3-bedroom house, but have a friend who is living with us while he gets some stuff back together (unfortunately not paying rent :dohh: ) so when we bought the house we thought okay 3 bedrooms: the Master, the office, the kids' room (we don't have a family room or den or anything) and then we let him move in. So we condensed the office to one very small desk and it's is now in our bedroom. I'm just glad that I'm done with my Masters' program because I needed my office desk space for that!

How are you feeling? How's your little one doing?

Ah, it's nice that you're helping your friend out and still have room for baby, even if it means consolidating your office/bedroom. Also can't wait to see pics!

I'm doing okay, though having a bit of mild pain/discomfort/tightness right this second. Wondering if it's braxton hicks, but it's not got any discernible pattern... seems more or less constant. Baby's been kicking and rolling and squirming a lot over the past few weeks... sometimes it makes me catch my breath it's so hard and out of the blue. Other than that, I'm just swamped with trying to write up the first draft of my thesis in the next two weeks. I have sooooo much complex data and so many measures, plus I've forgotten everything I learned from my four stats courses, and my supervisor is also too swamped to meet with me as much as I'd like to, so it's getting increasingly stressful. I also risk losing a huge doctoral scholarship if I don't defend in time, but I'm hoping my program won't let that happen since they'd have to fund me instead. Yes... so you're very lucky you're done!!!

Aww thanks broodyrs, and congrats to you too!!

Hi Jezika, congrats on the girl!! How exciting :)

I'm keen to see pics too Angel! I am starting to paint our spare rooms this weekend onwards, painting both the same colour, probably just a whitey grey, so when I do the nursery it will be a blank slate, im excited :)

I think I've ovulated but its weird not knowing for sure! My cm had one bit of ewcm and its been watery since. Yesterday it went to watery / creamy but today ive had a small amount more of ewcm so who knows. I might take my temp in the morning just to see if its up or not, that will give me more of a clue.

Either way, we have our bases covered. Plus, the cycle I conceived I had more watery cm than ewcm, so I'm optimistic!

We've got the room 90% done. We have one last set of stickers we need to put up but I wanted to get the dresser and crib in first before I put those up so I can make sure that they aren't completely covered by the furniture. Crib got put together yesterday (mostly - we realized we are missing 2 special kinds of barrel nuts so we have to pick those up), and then I'm hoping DH will bring in the dresser today. It's been out in the carport (we don't have a garage) for a couple months because we didn't have room for awhile. I won't let him bring it in until he "debugs" it (spiders, etc). Soooo might be a day or two before he'll get it in. :haha:

Congrats on the girl Jezika!!

Sheece - yay on ovulation! GL! :)

Well I temped this morning and my temp was down :/ and I had more ewcm today too so maybe I haven't ovulated. Will temp again tomorrow to test it but I'm already getting too annoyed about it all and its cutting into my relaxed cycle theme too much!

sheece i think if you keep temping, the relaxed approach will go out the window so i say get extra :sex: in this week to make sure you covered if you did O late.

Angel, how have you been? so glad the room is almost done. any idea if your friend maybe leaving anytime soon or they still staying around for some time?

Jezika congrats on the pregnancy. hope you have a healthy and wonderful baby girl

Sheece- I would suggest either doing away with temping or continue regularly but doing it one or two days just to confirm O isn't really helpful or good for your relaxing mental health. :) I say whenever you get the EWCM you just DTD a few times and see what happens. :)

Whimsical - I'm doing Good. I've got pics of the room attached. :) Our friend will be here for awhile. It's a long term living situation. He needs a place while he's getting back on his feet and now he has a job and all but has so many bills and back things he has to catch up on that he won't be able to afford rent and a place of his own for awhile. When we let him move in we knew it was a long term (as in 1-2 YEARS) situation.

Room looks great!

I agreed with the others sheece. Do away with temping and just dtd regularly

Ah, Angel, love the animals hiding and peaking from random places, including the one in the chair ;)

When are you thinking of testing, Sheece?

Thanks for the kind words, everyone :)

angel that is kind of you and DH to do that for your friend. I really don't know how I would manage with another person in my house for so long (its been DH and I only for 5+yrs now and I'm too comfy just being 2 people) but I'm sure something got him to where he is now and its great that you are there to help get him to where he needs to be in his life.
I LOVE the room. the animals are just so cure. I esp love the lion and the giraffe. the colours have a relaxed feel to it too so thats a help for the stressful nights to come for you.

Jezika - :haha: Yeah the dog in the chair is my mom's. We have 2 minpins who are about the same size and like to hide in that chair too, but mom's dog chased them out.

Whimsical - Yeah I don't handle other people living with me well, I couldn't handle roommates in college or after college, it was a mess. We don't always get along with the friend staying here but he makes a decent roommate in that he usually is hidden away in his room if he isn't at work. We just wish he'd do a little more of the household chores, but he does the dishes and occasionally cooks which is nice. He's a good worker and all but he lived in the town we grew up in, which is a tiny town with a horrible economy and no job availability. He spent 5 years without a job, just doing odd side jobs to try to make ends meet and couldn't keep up with his child support so he owes a lot (thousands!) in child support but plus a lot of back bills on other stuff. So he's staying with us while he catches up. Basically his whole paycheck (minus gas and some food) goes to back bills.

Thanks about the room! I fell in LOVE with the lion above the door sticker which is why I bought that set. I like the monkey's too but the lion and giraffe are my favorites. :) I was afraid the yellow would be a little too bright, but we really like that color especially with the green so we stuck with it. :)

The room looks great Angel! Love the monkeys :)

I took a mix of your advice guys, I kept temping & kept BD'ing lol. It's still not showing me much though

I think I have ovualted as before ovulation I never get temps that continuually go up like that, but they are quite low temps. Which is also what I got in my bfp cycle (the march chart) so fingers crossed. Plus my Cm has changed to creamy.

Going to stop temping from now though as it really is not doing anything for my relaxed cycle. I just got frustrated not knowing!

We got the call this morning! We start IVF next cycle!!!!! Transfer date is beginning of September! Eeek!!!
