My nan used to make the yummiest chicken soup in the world ever!!!

I can't seem to do it tho :/

It wasn't a creamy one, it was a watery one, with chicken and veg in.

Anyone got any recipes for a watery chicken soup?
I know she did something like, when we had chicken dinners she would put the chicken bone's with what ever chicken was left on it in water to boil, do you think after so long she just removed the bone's, and stripped them, putting the chicken back in the water and add some veg? Plus some chicken stock? :S

Not sure if this one is any good for you

hi my grandad makes a yummy chicken soup....

u can add more chicken if u like but he uses...

2 packets of knorr chicken noodle soup

half an onion

a carrot

....trying 2 remember wat else errrm....oh yeah theres these vegetable stock cubes, theyre like jelly and i put 1 of those in. its a yummy and easy soup!! xx

Myself and all mums family make it like this;
Chicken and chicken stock,
Small pasta shapes (bows, sprirals or shells)
Lots of chopped veg, corn,carrots,peas

Basically everything gets chucked into a pot and boiled til pasta is cooked. I usually use a chicken stock cube or ready made stock, add cooked chicken, pasta and veg and leave to simmer for 10-15mins.
I wanna cook one now but our cookers on the blink! :dohh:

I do it like this....

Water
Chicken - usually drumsticks or thighs
(sometimes add a chicken stock cube aswell)
Carrots
Turnip
Onion or Leeks (both if you want)
Rice (just a handful - too much makes it thick and stodgy)
Salt and Pepper
