Christmas eve box.. What do you put in?

This is what I put in last year, stocking, treats, reindeer food, santa's plate, mug for hot chocolate, colouring book. When I've wrapped all her stocking bits - anything that wouldn't fit in goes into the christmas eve box.

Am I the only one that doesn't put in new christmas pj's? I usually give her a couple of pairs at the start of December so she can wear them in the run up to the big day.

Ours aren't always brand new either, since they wear them most of December. I make sure they are freshly washed and folded into the Christmas Eve, box, though, since its just part of our tradition to get our Christmas PJs out of the box with the Christmas Eve activities.

I like to keep it pretty simple

I go to the dollar store and get the boxes that are meant to wrap sweaters or whatever and have Christmas scenes on them, so I don't have to wrap, just tape it shut and slap on a bow!

• New Pjs for Riley
• New cup for Riley
• Hot chocolate sachet for me
• Bottle of beer for OH
• Chocolate for Riley
• Chocolate/popcorn for me
• Beef jerky/snacks for OH
• New festive DVD to watch together
• Reindeer food

I either wrap a cardboard box in Christmas wrapping paper or use a Christmas gift bag xx

- New pjs (not Xmas themed, just matching. They get an Xmas pair each at the beginning of December with their advent calendars)

- winter themed story book

- cup and a nice drink for them

- little treat

- reindeer food/dust

- stocking and Santa plate
