OMG Xmas eve use to be so hectic for us, we would go shopping first thing in the morning to pick up the turkey and all the veg/salad food needed for Xmas then we would take the kids to see Santa at Hamleys then on to see the Xmas light in George's square, back home to then quickly put them in there baths, feed them, get ready for bed, once kids in bed I would then be setting the dining table, wrapping presents and Xmas eve was over in a blink!!!

This year we are doing our final Xmas shopping on the 23rd,kids are seeing Santa at Hamleys and the Xmas lights on the 22nd and the only thing we will be doing this year on the 24th is enjoying being home as a family, the kids getting to enjoy there xmas eve bags, watching Xmas films and eating there favourite take out food before bed time for Santa and I can't bloody wait :)

Christmas Eve at my Mum's is busy and very structured and we do a LOT, however this year I'm at MIL so it's less so. We tend to watch a lot of TV and eat Celebrations lol! Also, we will be going to midnight mass at Durham Cathedral and then coming home for a glass of mulled wine in front of the fire - the best part :)
