Hey everyone,

I'm so confused/worried. I took a clearblue indicator test on Monday and it registered at 3+.....and I read somewhere on here that your HCG levels have to be over 2,000 to register as 3+.....well, I had a blood test done today (Friday) and the levels were 4,012.......the doctor said that's a great level for 5 weeks....but I'm worried that the levels aren't doubling if I judge by the clearblue test from Monday........

Am I worrying for nothing?

If the doctor said it was fine, I'm sure you're just over thinking it! And congratulations, by the way! :)

I wouldn't worry hun. If you read the leaflet that comes with the clearblue test it will tell you that the conception indicator isn't 100% accurate x

I don't think anyone on here really knows the cut offs for the conception indicator. I have tried in vain to research this online and even in the stuff clearblue publish for medical professionals, this number is not present. I guess that this is so that other companies can't copy the test and sell it cheaper.

So far, your pregnancy is going really well, you have got the magic 3+ and your doctor is happy with your levels. Try not to worry about it.

I think I posted a link on here for the levels that someone else had posted, they said they got them by phoning clearblue, but of course we cant be sure of that.

Anyway, I wouldnt worry, easier said than done! If you keep worrying, why dont you ask for a repeat hcg test 48 to 72 hours apart

Ater your HCG reaches 1200 it takes much longer to double!

hCG levels Doubling Time
Under 1200 mIU/ml 31-72 hours
Between 1200 to 6000 mIU/ml 72-96 hours
Over 6000 mIU/ml more than 96 hours
