Help, I’m really confused.

I’ve decided to test early and kinda wish I hadn’t but I used first response yesterday with fmu, thought maybe something (I’m about 7/8dpo so I know probably pointless), but I know u can see indents on them, so I went out and bought the Clearblue 6 days sooner ones. Looked pretty negative, but at about ten mins thought I could maybe make out a squinter, which has got darker, but assuming evap. Anyway, tested today with the other cb and within 2 mins a v v faint positive line came up, so I dash out to the shop and grab a box of frer to test with same pee and there’s virtually nothing there (indent/shadow maybe).

Which do I believe????

Blue dye tests are notoriously unreliable and you'll find that most of them have shadows. They're also prone to evaps.

Pink dye tests are always preferable.

Don't get discouraged yet. I would wait a day or two and if no af, I would test again. Use FRER only or the digital tests. Those are the only ones I like.
